Very good cooling system, NO noise from it. The best I have experienced and it was excellent in the room. Resulting in very good sleeping (and no respiratory problems)! Blinding curtains was very good. The beds were very good. The staff that welcomed us as well as all others were so kind and helpful. Thanks to them all. Bathroom very nice and clean as rest of the hotel.

The chairs in the room and balcony was a bit small for my size and a soft pillow or two in the chair would have been very nice. This was the only thing we wished different from what you offered.

Good and clean hotel, nice sea view, friendly staff. Beach nearby and down-town Menton at walking distance. Upper floor / roof top has the spa with small pool, all looked nice and clean. (unfortunately had no time to enjoy)

The room was a little outdated with hard laminate floor and worn (but clean!) bathroom. Unfortunately no hook at the wall for the shower head, so it was not possible to take a relaxed shower with both hands free.

Amazing staff , very helpful nothing was too much trouble . English , not a problem , and a lot better than my French. Very friendly with a "Bonjour " every time they saw you . Room was very clean and refreshed daily .Breakfast was yummy , with many options . Public transport outside the door to Monte Carlo , Nice or anywhere . The view from the balcony over the water and pastel houses lining up the mountains was postcard quality , incredible memories. can't thank them enough for an incredible stay .

The hotel is amazing. The staff were so helpful and welcoming, they advised us about free parking and amenities nearby. The hotel itself is great, very clean, modern minimalistic rooms, the view over the beach and sea was amazing. The rooftop spa was great and never too busy to enjoy. We stayed in Nice before this hotel and would 100% spend more time in Menton next time at this hotel, it was amazing. Thank you again to all the staff 😎

Perfect location - true waterfront. Walking distance to all attractions in Menton. The room was with a sea view and a balcony! We were initially worried that it could be noisy at night ( busy road just underneath the room and crashing waves), but closing the balcony door was completely cutting of any noise. Really good breakfest, with a great selection of food. No problem with parking.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Location was perfect, beachfront line of grand architecture hotels and buildings.My room was 3 beds capacity so it was spacious and pleasant stay, with complete soundproofing from street noise and high tech airco

.Booking was made on the assumption that breakfast was included, when arrived to hotel,it turned out food was served for separate price.

We loved the view from the room, also the room looks very nice and clean. We appreciated the mini bar being refilled each day. Location of the hotel is good but the main action in Menton is happening at 20-25 min far from the hotel but still you can find anything you need close to the hotel.

Breakfast is a bit too simple, I missed some vegetables.

2nd time staying at the Riva, perfect location & very friendly & accommodating staff, especially when we arrived. The view is outstanding & the rooftop spa/jacuzzi is fantastic. Would recommend to anyone & certainly hope to stay again in the not too distant future.

No faults

Walkable from rail station (downhill slope to hotel) Balcony overlooking the sea with table + chairs, ideal for lunch/dinner. Breakfast was adequate and constantly replenished. Nearby restaurants/cafes.

Due to being across road from sea, maybe lower front apartments suffer from road noise.

We had a lovely view of the sea. It was really good that the hotel had a spa and jacuzzi. The breakfast was also good.

The facilities in the bathroom needs a rehaul. Toilet seat was loose, the hairdryer came apart at the handle and the shower knob was a bit stiff. Otherwise the decor in the bathroom was OK.
