The hotel was very charming, with beautiful gardens, typical of the south of France. The rooms are spacious and quite clean, the pool is nice and it is in a great location, halfway between Grasse and Cannes and only 15min away from Nice airport. Equipment was enough and the breakfast was good!

Check in was a little late, the restaurant and bar was closed for 2 days because of a holiday (which sounds unbelievable to me as a Hotel is supposed to always be open? I live in Dubai so I may be biaised). Also, the restaurant re-opened on the last day and I went to book a table in the morning for the same night, the lady told me that the 2 services were fully booked... you guessed it, in the end I saw there was only 2 tables booked on that night and I realized after we booked in another restaurant 15min away. I don't understand why some places try to look exclusive and refuse business like that... absolute non sense. Anyways we still had a good stay besides that!

We had very bad experience with one of the employees from the front office, she was so impolite and arrogant. We really don’t know how can such person be at the front office. She did provide us to the room, we could find it, so we went back to the reception, didn’t say that the air conditioning was out of order in our room and we couldn’t sleep at all, didn’t provide us any water and etc and etc. Luckily for us after a complaint next day the manager was so nice and helpful. They moved us to another room, served us a compliment and everything was superb. Overall it’s a very nice hotel close to Cannes an Mougins that is worth staying. If they improve the service it’s a convenient place to spend some time there.

fantastic staff, lovely location. great little retreat, Cannes is accessible, mougin village a short walk or 5 min cab ride. Loved it. Food was superb.

There isn’t much we didn’t like. and to be honest we will return. But it needs just a little DIY. The pool could do with re-grating in some areas. and overall it could do with a lick of paint. The staff were fantastic that worked there. But you could do with maybe a member of staff to go around and offer drinks at poolside. little touches could make the experience so much better. Would have loved it more if there was the option of spa facilities, such as a massage, reflexology or pedicure. I’m sure there is the space to set something like this up and it would have made the stay superb.

Nice location in the hills over Cannes, easy to reach from the highway, and with a Tesla Supercharger right in the parking lot. Beautiful architecture and a very well-cared-for garden around the pool.

I was not particularly impressed by the breakfast. No direct service at the table, for the hot beverages, there was a machine like in any IBIS or similar hotels, and a reasonable choice of sweet and more continental-style food.

The location was ideal for exploring the South of France. Most of the staff particularly Reception staff were friendly and helpful

The cleaner kept removing things from our room like a bottle opener we had purchased and despite complaining to night staff it happened for 3 days in a row with 1 particular cleaner. Unable to do a late check out due to apparently having a nicer room than I booked but I had as per the confirmation booked the room I got

The hotel layout is very good and not too big. There is a wide range for breakfast and the outdoor seating area is nicely shaded for you to enjoy your food. The room was a good size and had a little terrace to sit and enjoy the sun.

There are no coffee making facilities in the room. I think this is essential in any hotel.

we enjoyed the whole ambiance, the restaurant, the grounds , the pool area , the outdoor setting to relax to after a busy day . the restaurant staff was friendly and gave us great service. The food was fresh and delicious.

the bathroom was small and not well equipped, no face mirror, poor lighting etc not a four star rating. the room furniture and the outdoor shutters need a a refresh and a coat of paint . too many mossies .

Beautiful and very well maintained Provençale style property. Staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming, and were very patient when I had a credit card issue at reservation. Excellent breakfast, at a fair price. Very good room size, and beautiful gardens.

Nothing significant. Bath a bit too slippery when wet. Non-slip material would help, but this is a really small thing.

The location is very good, the rooms are comfortable, the grounds are nice.

The facilities can be upgraded and breakfast can get an upgrade

What a DIAMOND in the middle of nowhere! I am so glad that we found this place. Especially ADOLFO and CORALINE did everything to make us feel at home! They went the extra mile to comfort us, so we decided to stay 4 nights longer. Dear Hôtel de Mougins, if you are reading this: thank these two lovely people and give them a raise. Traveling by car can be a bit of a hassle when you stay in Cannes because the minority (if none) of the hotels can keep an eye on your car, so we decided to look a bit on the inland side. We are thrilled how calm and tasteful this little hotel is. Normally hotels in that price range still tend to attract people who are loud at the pool and treat it like a ibis budget hotel, but here everything is really, really calm and has and respectful air to it. LOVE IT HERE! Jonas
