Excellent staff, super responsive and friendly. I stayed in the newer annex in a studio apartment that was perfect for a three-night stay. Nice fridge, coffee maker, microwave, etc. They also provided a fan, which was adequate to cool the room.

Even though my room looked out onto a side street without vehicular traffic to speak of, it was still a bit loud at night since I had to have the windows open due to the heat. I was prepared with ear plugs, so it was fine, and if you don't need to have the windows open, then it's probably not a problem at all.

Very good location. Airport bus to Hotel Dieu (final stop after the station) then about 10 mins walk. In centre of town near lots of access, restaurants and shops. Nice staff. Good value.

Sort out your arrival instructions. I waited outside for an hour at lunch time as it was locked, only finally to find a notice in tiny print on a sign that said collect the key from a different hotel up the road. No lift and at one point I was on the top floor. Reception on 1st floor. Stayed twice. Very big room the second time was nicer!

Attention: this review corresponds to the Hotel Duquesne, not the Petit Duquesne that I originally reserved. I was upgraded upon arrival to their nearby location which is a two-star hotel. The Petit Duquesne is a one-star hotel. The staff in both places were lovely. My room was very quiet although it gave onto the street. It had thick double or even triple-glazed glass, so there was no noise. The bed was very comfortable. The shower functioned and had nice and hot water. Very well located, near Commerce station. Both east/west and north/south tramway lines very close by.

There was a very unpleasant smell coming from the sink in the bathroom. I have a very sensitive sense of smell, other people probably wouldn't have been bothered by this. There were a few hairs on the blanket which didn't belong to me, but these are small things. Overall my stay was excellent and I would go back.

Perfect! Good location and nice comfortable bed, clean powerful hot showers. WiFi is great and the room on the 4th floor at least is relatively quiet considering the location. They let me check in early and extend my stay no problem. Didn't try the breakfast

There was a brief period where there was a power cut I think and also a blown fuse so the electricity in my room wasn't working. No one's fault though, but it took a while to get sorted. Hairdryer was a little flimsy and kept falling apart. Cleaners came into my room both mornings before check out at 1030 which was annoying

Adrienne on reception was so so helpful and nice. This is a budget hotel. You get what you pay for. The location is brilliant, in the centre with shops, transport on your doorstep. There was a slight issue with the booking sonwe were given 2 free breakfasts both mornings. I would definitley recommend this hotel if you are looking for cheap and cheerful.

Room was very very hot. Windows are huge but very unsafe if you had children.

The location is great, on the walking distance from everything you want to see. Also, the stuff is very nice and helped us with cheking-in before the set times (you can always check-in at the reception of the bigger hotel). Very clean and spacious room, perfect for a few nights stay.

Everything was good, but just a tip: if you take breakfast at hotel, it's more local, "French" one, which means that everythinig offered is sweet.

I like the access of this hotel to public transportation. And the city centre is just walking distance away. I had a spacious room on the second floor and it was very quiet and clean. There is also a small kitchen with fridge and coffee maker. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good for the price I paid. I'd recommend this hotel.

The garbage bin in the bathroom was not emptied when I came.

perfect location, easy to find and super friendly staff. The bed was very comfortable and our room had a lovely view of the street below. The room was clean and warm, which was lovely because it was freezing outside. Would happily stay again.

No lift but we new that. Reception closes between midday and 5pm but the staff were very accommodating and gave us the key early so we could let ourselves in.

Clean rooms, location. The hotel offers all the basics you would need- tv, towels, shower gel, bed and room service. But don’t expect any luxury. It is however good value for money paid.

Missing curtains (there are however outside shades), so during the day you are really on eyes of outside walkers. Not functioning hair dryer.

location and facilities where great. It was very close to bus stops and tram stops and was close to local supermarkets. It was close to a couple of places some legit restaurant and takeaways. travel in the city is free on the weekend on all buses and tram(Saturday & Sunday)

check-in was extremely late 17:00 butI had a late flight so it didn't affect me that much.
