I want to report an excellent staff, I dont know her name. She was on duty when I arrived at the hotel on 6 August afternoon around 6 pm. My family was very tired because we couldn't find how to drive to the hotel. So we park outside on the road and drag big lagguages to the hotel. When we finished check-in, she gave me directions and code to the parking entrance. However, I still lost according to my GPS map. So I returned to the hotel and asked her for help to drive with me again to find the parking lot. She was very kind and understood my anxiety. She used her map to show me the way, taught me how to access the area, and finally, we got the parking lot. She is the best helper to me. I recommend awarding her as the best stuff of August.

Comfortable and centrally located. Underground parking. Bar and food reasonably priced.

Took 1.5 hrs to find it by car! Really difficult as in middle of pedestrianised zone and GPS doesn’t understand vehicle entrance and exit points. Nearly aborted our stay! Couldn’t use shower as over very deep bath with small area to climb in. Anyone with mobility issues would have difficulties. Breakfast charge but high for what was available.

The central Nantes location was great for our weekend city break - we were able to leave the car in the secure parking and explore everywhere we wanted on foot. The reception staff for check-in were very efficient and polite and the bar was relaxed and well stocked for a night-cap after an evening out, followed by a very good selection and presentation in the morning for breakfast that did not finish too early either, which is also very handy when you're meant to be having a short holiday!

We had a Privilege Room in a Mercure so you generally know what you're going to get, but we did have a couple of comments on this stay, but neither would stop us staying there again: paper cups not real ones with the coffee machine and we had a particularly noisy mattress, with lots of metal spring noises. Time for some replacements, I think :)

Excellent location and really nice decor, especially in the lobby. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a bit funny with the shower and toilet in seperate rooms.

The underground parking garage was very tight. I drove an Audi A5 and it was really difficult, but not impossible to get around the ramps and fit into a parking space. It would be a good idea to mention this in the description of the hotel, just in case someone arrives in a larger car.

I booked two rooms for two nights, but on arrival the rooms were not booked in the hotels' system, although I received confirmation from Booking and also paid for the rooms. Luckily they had cancellations and we could stay in our rooms for two nights, but we were not guaranteed the rooms until the following morning. They offered to find us another hotelroom though, if they would not be able to offer us the rooms, but still it was not a very reassuring experience.

What an amazing room! We visited on a relatively quiet day just for one night and we got super lucky that we got upgraded to a suite. It was incredible. The bath was the size of my bathroom at home! There was a living room with a massive tv and a playstation, bedroom was massive and lovely decorated. The whole thing was so big you could get lost in it. What an amazing surprise and the staff couldn't be friendlier. We had a lovely stay. Thank you

Annoyed about having to pay 28 euros for car parking. On booking.com it suggested that the car was free (no mention of cost) After I booked I asked about parking and in return you gave me the instructions. Only at the very end did it say about the fees. It was misleading

I stayed in the hotel on 2 separate occasions. The first time, I found it really difficult to get to by car; it was much easier the second time. The instructions could be a little clearer that you really do need to drive down a pedestrian street with people everywhere. The tea at breakfast was not good - you need freshly boiled water to make a good cup of tea!

Lack of storage in bedroom, 4 coat hangers in small wardrobe, no drawer storage. Not really adequate for 3 night stay. WC separate from bathroom without hand wash facilities.

Central location, parking, even though it is slightly challenging to follow instructions from the hotel. Very helpful staff.

Feels more 3* rather than 4. Very tight parking, must be very challenging for large cars. Gym, skip it and go for a run outside.
