The noise by the metro all thru the day except midnight to 5am

All was fine. Friendly staff. Great location.

The metro crosses just under the building and you feel it in the hotel. Hence, if you are sensetive with noise you rather think twice.

This was our second Christmas spent in this hotel and it was fab! The location is 10/10 in beautiful San Germain, we had lovely quiet walks along Rue de Grenelle to the Rodin Museum and Les Invalides. The room was perfectly clean and comfortable (small but adequate). On the 5th floor the noise of the Metro was fine, It just sounded like passing traffic. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. Price for 6 nights (booked and paid 5 months in advance) was really very good. Loads of charming shops, bars and restaurants in the area, with nearby Metro stop.

No kettle in room for hot drinks.

It was very nice, modern, clean and in a great location. And very friendly and helpful staff.

When I got back to my room after going out for the evening, I couldn’t figure out the air conditioning system, even though I was pushing the correct buttons so I went to sleep and I wasn’t as comfortable as I could’ve been. I know I could’ve asked the front desk, But for some dumb reason, I didn’t. In the morning when I called the front desk, I needed someone to help me figure out the soap dispenser so Manon and came up to show me and also show me that I needed to push an external button to get the air conditioning to work. So you might add that on the instructions. Also, in the morning, I noticed a noise that was recurring, which luckily didn’t happen during the night. As I figured, Manon and said it was the metro that runs on their morning route.

this hotel was in a good location ~walk everywhere~nice lively safe neighborhood!! at night it quieted down. Many shops, cafes,restaurants in walking distance. Staff very friendly and all spoke english. great WIFI ~ 3 english NEWS channels. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. We also had a small terrace that was nice!

This was the most expensive room we stayed in during our time in France. Given the cost ~ it included no free breakfast or coffee, room was very small(the smallest one we stayed in) and a good suggestion would be to add a handle bar in the tub area, Very precarious exiting the tub!! It is a flat rate of E65 for the hotel to call a Taxi to go to the airport (CDG) we went to the corner and got a TAXI to the airport for E55.(making others aware of the option)

Fantastic location! So many beautiful restaurants around and in the middle of a good shopping district. In walking distance to the Louvre and Notre Dame. Close to the river too. It was a very last minute booking as we were at another hotel and had to stay in Paris an extra night due to our Eurostar being cancelled. The hotel were very very accommodating and the staff were very friendly. The rooms are modern, light and spotless clean.

There was no common space to sit such as a lounge or bar but this wasn’t something we needed for this particular stay.

This hotel is small and the rooms and lift (and stairs!) are small but room has large windows and good bathrooms. The location is excellent, and the quality /price ratio of the hotel was really good. Within walking distance - along the lovely rue Grenelle - to the Rodin Museum, and of course all of St Germain on your doorstep. We spent 6 nights there over Christmas and it really worked well for us. We were on 5th floor so the noise of the metro could be heard but was really not an issue, it just sounded like a bus passing by. After visiting some more touristy areas I am really glad we chose this location.

Would have been good to have a kettle in the room.

This was such great value for money. If you want to experience the authentic Parisian part of the city, it’s best you find hotels in Saint Germain or Saint Michel. The hotel was nice and cozy, a 3 minute walk from Saint Sulpice station. The breakfast was fair and filling. It wasn’t extravagant but it had the essentials ( cereal, coffee, small assortment of cheese and croissant). The staff was lovely especially the lovely lady who served us breakfast in the morning ( I asked for her name and have forgotten it unfortunately). Will definitely book this hotel again.

I would say the only let down was that the adjoining room we booked was actually adjacent. It took a lot of convincing to get our children (9 and 7) to sleep on their own without a connecting door to our room.

It was in amazing location, very close to the Louvre. Our room was spotless on arrival and the sheets and towels were replaced daily. The staff were courteous, friendly and available if we needed them, 24/7. They even upgraded us to a balcony room with a lovely view of the street.

There wasn’t much to dislike at all - we noticed some people mentioned the noise the metro in other reviews - this did not at all interrupt our sleep. The space was very small but as with city breaks it was only for sleeping so worked out fine for us. My slight only dislike was how close the rooms are as anyone in the hallway later at night it was very easy to hear them walking.

The location was superb for much of what I wanted to do, though the cabbie had to look up the address. The room itself was excellent, with a view onto the street from the 3rd floor. There were lots of shops and eateries nearby as well. Staff were excellent!

The layout was a little bit crowded, though I'm not sure there would have been another way to do it for 2 people. It would have worked better as a single room, though there may not be much demand for such, Otherwise everything was fine
