Le relais Montmartre is a fabulous hotel. Brilliant location, Montmartre is lively bustling area of Paris… by far my favourite. A taste of the old paris with great cafes, bars, restaurants. The hotel is perfectly located. On a fairy quiet street but with it minutes of montmartre main streets and the nearest metro is a short walk away. Staff were so friendly, room was spacious compared to other paris hotels I’ve stayed in. Spotlessly clean. I will definitely be back to this hotel.

Beautiful hotel in the Montmartre area. Great for shopping. Lots of restaurants and cafes. There was a boulangerie, wine and cheese shop right around the corner. Barbara at the hotel was always very pleasant and helpful when I asked her for advice or directions. She couldn't have been nicer. Fairly easy walk to Sacre Coeur. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is small, quiet, nicely decorated, and relaxed. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. Breakfast was lovely in an atmospheric room downstairs, always with an amazing tart as part of the offerings. The neighborhood was walkable, filled with shops and cafes, and charming. The room itself was comfortable and well laid out, even if a bit small by American standards, but big enough for us. Super comfortable bed. Heated toilet seat with bidet functions, heated towel rack, well-lighted closet with shelves. Drinking water was supplied in room. These little touches made a difference. Would return.

Pretty much liked everything. A larger room with a couch would have been a bonus, but really, this was an excellent place to stay.

The room was roomy enough for 2 adults and a small chihuahua. As most european hotel rooms it was on the small size, but the decor was excellent, the bed firm and didn't sag, the drapes were heavy to block out the hot summer sun and the room was air conditioned. Didn't have breakfast but the free coffee was strong as we like it. The cleaning staff were excellent and they were so good to clean the room when we took our dog out and we didn't have to wait hours and hours. Excellent. The front desk Barbara always had a smile and a greeting, answered all our questions. Pierre the night receptionist was also very helpful, spoke very good english too. All in all, a charming small hotel whose staff made one very welcome right in the heart of Montmartre.

As with all european hotels, larger rooms at every level would be good but that did not take away from the charm and comfort. We are returning in July for another week at this hotel.

We have stayed at Le Relais before hence our return stay. The hotel is a glorious little enclave away from the bustling Montmartre. The staff were all very kind and helpful and upgraded us to a bigger room which was wonderful. The hotel is really nicely decorated in the traditional style and each room is different ,really comfortable and quiet despite being in a busy neighbourhood. The beds were super comfortable with lovely towels and linen. It was also nice to have a fridge and kettle in the room and free coffee in the hotel foyer. There are many supermarkets, fruit shops and bakeries along with many places to eat in the area and it is close to the Blanche Metro. We will happily come back.

My only gripe is that they changed my towels daily even though I did as they requested when you don’t. Want your towels changed

This property was lovely, in the heart of Montmartre. The staff was helpful and professional. As a solo traveler I felt safe there the whole time. This property is a few steps away from Moulin Rouge and all the wonderful bistros, and bakeries. I highly recommend staying here. I’ll definitely come back to this hotel if I ever come back to Paris.

I like everything about the property. I don’t have absolutely anything negative to say about staying here.

The staff was warm and welcoming. They spoke good English, and they provided some great suggestions for the area. Housekeeping performed an exceptional job keeping our rooms clean day to day.A wonderfully curated breakfast was provided each morning for a reasonable fee. This was my first experience in Paris, and I could not have asked for a better hotel.

The mattresses were a bit firm for my liking. The elevator was also a bit snug, but this is expected while staying anywhere in an older historic neighborhood of Paris.

The staff were pleasant and accommodating. The beds were super comfy, the rooms were clean and well stocked, and there was complimentary tea and coffee available around the clock. The location was excellent, with the metro and bus stop nearby. Gift shops and restaurants in abundance in the area.

The only caution I would advise, and it is minor, is in regards to the breakfast, which is available from 8a - 11a and is €14 pp. We arrived at 10a to no more hot eggs or bacon, BUT there were many other choices such as yogurt, croissants, chocolate pastry, cold hard boiled eggs, cheeses, etc.

Breakfasts were exceptional in their content and presentation - beautifully arranged and delicious, supported by staff who were graciously helpful and friendly. The room was charmingly decorated, exceeding expectations in amenities, size, comfort and cleanliness. The receptionists were extremely helpful with suggestions for dining and with making arrangements for taxis and events. The housekeeping staff did a beautiful job of restoring the room to a welcoming home each day.

They gaqve us a ground floor room, which was very nice--location was perfect for us, as we wanted to first of all visit the Sacre cour where we got engaged 21 years ago--We could walk everywhere from this spot, and we DID! We did not try breakfast, even though it looked very good--both days we had in Paris were perfect for weather, and we wanted to eat outside

Two of the managers were friendly and wonderful, spoke english and answered all of our questions!!! One guy was very sour--maybe hospitality management is NOT the field for him??
