we booked a room for 3 which was large for a city centre property, it was clean comfortable and the shower was powerful, location worked for us and the metro is very close, the staff were helpful and pleasant.

the room was a tad on the warm side (in October) which was easily remedied by opening the lovely large windows, might be an issue in the summer? The sound from other rooms did travel a bit nothing too bad but could be an issue if you had particularly noisy neighbours.

I was allowed to check in early as my room was ready, plus I got a free upgrade. This is the second time I have been to the hotel, and I am always met with kindness. The location was perfect for me as it was 2 minutes from the metro, and a 15-30 minute walk from everything else I needed. It's next to the Moulin Rouge, and a supermarket. It was also walking distance to the MARTYRS, which has lots of beautiful coffee shops and patisserie.

The female receptionist wasn't as warm as the other people who manned the reception. The female receptionist was often on the phone, and not really attentive. I will assume that she was only like to to me because is is quite immature and threatened by other women. I believe she is different towards other groups of people.

Great view of the Eiffel Tower and Paris rooftops from our little balcony (which we had requested - thank you!) Really good location - walk to Montmartre one way and to south Pigalle the other, so loads of local restaurants, cafes/bakeries and bars - plus choice of metro stations/ lines for all around the city. Buzzing, lively area but not disturbed by noise at all in our high floor room - felt warm and cosy even with wild winds and rain outside.

While the dark decor is a great nod to the old Le Chat Noir venue, it does highlight how getting old affects your eyesight! I found it a bit dark trying to get ready.

Lovely spacious room, comfortable bed and great facilities. The air con was set to heat due to winter which we did not know so our room was very warm, once we spoke to reception it was all sorted and we were provided with a fan which really helped. Lovely staff in the morning for breakfast. This hotel is well situated for the Moulin Rouge and all other sites in walking distance. Despite other reviews commenting on the stores nearby we found this a very safe area and will definitely stay again.

Proximity to the moulin rouge which was the reason for our trip was excellent. One of the rooms had a balcony with a view of the Eiffel Tower priceless. The room was clean and comfortable with mini bar, tea/coffee and bottled water, slippers and robes were also included. At the end of a busy day and evening fell into a comfortable bed and had a great nights sleep followed by good breakfast ready for the start of another busy day. We had two rooms that were opposite each other which made things so much easier.

The staff were super friendly and accommodating and let us store luggage before and after our stay so we could explore the city. They were very kind and helpful and made it a very easy process. The room was really clean and had good facilities like tea/coffee, a mini fridge and safe and the beds were very comfortable. The shower was amazing!

It would have been nice to have a little more space between the beds as we requested a twin but they were still pushed together as a double which was a little awkward. Also a full length mirror for getting ready as the one in the room was tiled and harder to use.

Beds were very comfortable and the location was fantastic.

When we booked we asked for a twin and received a double. When asked about turning it to a twin we were told that it wasn’t in our booking notes. I pulled up the booking that said we booked two single beds. It seems there is a disconnect between the booking system and the hotel. So my friend stayed in the double bed and I slept on the day bed. It was very comfortable but a little surprised that it wasn’t rectified the following day.

Located in Montmartre district with great amenities close by. Moulin Rouge and metro stations are only 1 minute away by walk. The room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast has been pretty good too. All staff were lovely and very helpful.

The location felt okay and safe when travelling as a couple but due to all the shops and nightclubs on the main road it probably would not be the best for families with children.

Big room with nice view over Boulevard Clichy. Large bathroom. Good breakfast in nice breakfast room.

The neighborhood is "sleazy", but the nice part is the sleaze stays inside and the street outside is like any other Paris street if you ignore the sleaze. Nobody bothered us in the street. Ignore the sleaze and you get a very comfortable hotel with great metro access at a great price (November). Was noisy Saturday night, but quiet after that.

Excellent location a short walk to rue Lepic and Montmartre. Very easy access to metro. Walking distance (20 mins) to the Opera Garnier and Roissy bus to/from Charles de Gaule airport. Very nice restaurant on main floor.

You’re in the heart of Pigalle, so there is a LOT of street noise. By this I mean really loud music, screaming, bottles breaking, motorcycles revving, sirens wailing…until 2 or 3 am. Higher floors might be quieter. Other than that, Le Chat Noir is a safe, clean, comfortable hotel in the heart of Paris.
