Nice hotel with big and comfortable suites. Very clean and perfect for a small or medium family which wants to have a trip in Paris. The staff is very friendly and happy to support you in any situation.

The location is in Saint Denis. Due to the construction of the road the only way to the subway (on foot) was through a small way under a bridge. Under this bridge there was a lot of people taking drugs and fighting. For a family with a little child not the best experience.

Comfortable beds, efficient layout, quiet area. Staff was super courteous and helpful conversing with the Pizza Hut who didn't deliver our order because it was from a non French phone number! But they talked to the PH and got it straightened out.

Sound proofing with secondary glazing Blackout blinds There is a nice Boulangerie next to Porte de la Chapelle Metro, which is reasonably priced. E.g Pain au chocolat at €1.20. In the centre of Paris the same would cost double or quadruple the price. Breakfast at the hotel is €19 per adult, so we just headed to the boulangerie, where they also serve coffee, sandwiches and pastries. It was handy having a Nespresso machine in the hotel room. There's also a small fridge, which was very useful especially for the smelly cheese we enjoyed! One Metro stop down from Porte de la Chapelle, near Marx Dormoy, there is a Monoprix, where you can buy food without breaking the bank. The food department is downstairs. There's a stimulating multi-cultural mix along Rue de la Chapelle. If you are on a budget, this is a super little hotel. We would definitely stay there again.

On the last night and morning, sound from a neighbour's television was a bit disturbing (although the road didn't bother me at all). Please note that I am very sensitive to sound, so this might not bother you. With earplugs, I was fine. It was too hot in the room on arrival so it was hard to sleep the first night even after ventilating the room and running the air conditioning on 5 degrees for a while. The second night was better having ventilated the room more and having run the air con on 5 degrees for longer in the morning. It is not the posh part of Paris, so you will encounter all types of people, some lovely and others it might be wise to avoid. Be street smart!

The room and location were good considering that this was at a lower price compared to other hotels in Paris at this time of the year. It was clean and comfortable, enough for our family to have a pleasant stay. The staff was generally helpful and nice also. I appreciate that they cleaned the room and replaced the towels after the first night, even if we were there for only 2 nights.

I am not sure if this is the practice in Paris, but we were given only a small bottle of water for three people for the whole stay, and the second day the coffee pods were not replaced when the cleaning staff came. We had to ask at the reception for coffee for the second day. The prices for drinks were very high - €4 for a small bottle of water. Thankfully, they have a water fountain, which we used to refill our water bottles.

Big enough rooms and beds for a family of 4.

The location has accessibility, but due to ongoing traffic diversion because of road maintenance it is difficult to access. Also there are a lot of anti social elements on the way to the hotel and they have made the walkway filthy.

St Denis at night can be a neighbourhood where you dont feel extremely safe

The rooms were big and spacious. Coffee machine and pods were free and readily available in the room. I love that the shower area and toilet were separated because my family and I didn't have to wait when someone is showering to use the toilet. The TV also had channels in English. Staff were also accommodating and friendly!

Location wise, it was almost an hour train ride to the city center. If you're going to get a cab, it's around 36 minutes to the center. Other than that, I had no issues with the place.

The size of the map as to the location which was on the bottom of the booking confirmation was useless. May be ok if I was 20 again with great eyesight, useless for a 80 year old!!! You may feel he should have used Google maps - difficult to do when you leave the internet connection of the airport! You adding in "Bonus questions" What is that about? It does not benefit me and wastes my time. A Turnoff!

I loved this room! It's a suite with almost everything you need for a perfect and comfortable stay. 1. They have a lovely concept of a separate toilet (wc area) and bathroom (shower), which makes things very convenient if you are with a family or more than one person. 2. There is a microwave and mini pantry area inside the suite, which is very cool for long stays. 3. The bathroom has a bathtub as well as a walk-in shower so you can benefit from both if needed. 4. Very comfortable beds and ample lighting with a massive size of room overall. They also have black out blinds, which is so helpful.

1. The location is not good, If you are staying with elderly people or small kids then this hotel is very very far from central Paris so you have to be ready to travel by metro or taxi to tourist destinations. 2. There is no room service available or plates that they provide for you to eat food, which you may get from outside.

Location was near an under construction site and the road leading to the hotel was closed and we had to walk for about 500 meters which was not in a good condition Secondly, there was only set of access card provided by the hotel which made it difficult if one person had to go out of the room for getting things as the elevator needed a card to be presented each time the floor had to be selected. We had stayed in Novotel Brussels the couple of days before and there we had the extra card which was very useful
