Great location, metro/bus station at 100 meters, great stuff, supermarket just opposite the hotel.

Small hall and narrow stairs can be an issue for someone and there is no elevator.

The location of the hotel is perfect and it takes 1-2 minutes from the metro station. The place itself is very nice, the room I booked had a great view, the bed was very comfy, there were fresh towels and a sink in the room, so you could brush your teeth without going to the bathroom. There is a cafe downstairs that provides affordable breakfasts and wonderful coffee. The staff was super polite and kind! Loved the place.

Overall it was excellent for the price paid. The only thing is that the shared shower is super tiny, so you have to keep your clothes inside and hope they don't get wet, and sometimes the lights were not working well, but it was not a big problem :))

The hotel is well located near the Eurostar, close to transport (tube, buses), supermarkets, bakeries and shops. The staff is very helpful: our Eurostar was cancelled and we missed the first night of our stay and they accepted not to charge us for it. There is also a little bar/cafe next to it. 24hs reception. The hotel is quite old but rooms are comfy and clean. The street is pretty quiet. It's a very good value for money.

You can hear noises from the other rooms.

The room was surprisingly larger than I thought for the price we paid, the bathroom had good water pressure for baths and good water temperature. The room was clean, not a lot of noise from the street below despite it being quite busy, it’s very very near to the metro (1 min walking) which was great and convenient.

There’s no elevator and no warning about it when you book the hostel and it has several staircases. Also, the common bathrooms are mid stairs so that’s weird. We had a private room so I’m not sure how that worked for people who share room in the hostel. Lastly, I wouldn’t define the beds as. Comfortable. If you have their 6 usd breakfast, they don’t accept card, only cash. And the timing of breakfast is not super punctual, so be patient.

It’s right in northern Paris, close to the beautiful African market in Goutte d’Or and Montmartre. It is cheap and quite solid all round. The bathroom doors are curved - I was not even aware doors came in that shape, but not only do they but they fit well too! The hotel and its staff are chill and easy-going.

The bed unfortunately had a shallow dip in the middle of its right side. If I lay diagonally so my butt was in it it was okay, but lying straight so my lower back was in it was not good for said lower back. The curtains are not sufficient to keep out the City of Light’s streetlights, necessitating a sleep mask. The (fifth floor) shower has only a single peg to hang your clothes and towel on, and it is very close to the shower itself.

The hotel is in a good place, very close to a bus station and metro station Marx Dormoy. There is a bakery, a few restaurants and fast food places near by, across the street there is a supermarket. The rooms are stylish, very sunny and the beds are comfortable. They were cleaned every day given that you leave the key at reception whenever you’re going out. The people working there were very kind, attentive and friendly. The first floor of the hotel is a cafe in a very typical french atmosphere. There you can order a delicious breakfast with included drinks. We strongly recommend for tourists that are planning to stay in Paris for a few days.

one of the few small hotels left intra-muros in Paris where you don't pay a fortune for your stay it's nice to see that the hotel is constantly maintained (really appreciated the new doors for the shower, even if I had slight difficulties for locking) super friendly staff - 24 hour reception and a small bar belonging with the hotel

nothing - exactly what I was looking for

Overall, our experience is great. Friendly staff, good location, nice room and clean bathroom. The price is reasonable, so we recommend this hotel.

The smell in the room was awful. We opened windows, and after 30 minutes, the smell disappeared. Also, it was very noisy. We could hear everything in the corridor, next rooms etc. So take headphones or something with you.

Affordable and near the 12 metro line. I expected worse given the price, but I was pleased with the room! Since I was out all day seeing the sights, I didn’t care to have a fancy room. Some of the other reviews seemed to be people who haven’t stayed in European buildings or in hostels. Elevators are a rarity anyway and I was very happy to have my own room, compared to sharing with others in a hostel. Toilets were clean; short stay so I didn’t use the shower.

New bedsheets could be bought. Looked dingy (but not dirty)

Easy access to the metro and a lovely ~40 min walk to the food-heavy Moulin Rouge district. We stayed here due to prime location between the major East and North train stations. Early morning start and we were in the train station within ~20-25 mins after taking 2 quick metros. $55 for the night was an AMAZING deal especially since we had our own toilet and shower. This price beats many hostels even!

I was a little nervous being forced to leave the key when we left the hotel to adventure. Arriving back at 0215 we were greeted by the front desk host and he gave us our key easily so any nervousness was unwarranted.
