I booked a private room, with private bathroom. Although the building itself is old, the room was very clean. There was some “wear and tear” in the room, but it’s important to remember that the entire building is old, so this is normal.. This is not The Ritz, but the staff did a great job to make it a nice, habitable and comfortable space. The bed was soft, the sheets were clean. The blanket was thick and comfortable. The water in the shower was hot. The private room has plenty of space and the bathroom was nice, too. And the staff were all very polite and courteous. I thought that they were very warm and polite people. I love that the entrance to the hotel is connected to a bar downstairs. It felt very cozy and “local vibes,” very relaxing and safe. Also, I really appreciate that there is 24 hour concierge. It felt very safe inside the hotel.
The only flaw is that the street outside is loud at night. It is a commercial area, and some bars and restaurants are open late. There is a lot of noise from people that talk loudly outside, and you can hear it through the windows. If this is okay for you, simply bring some earplugs and everything will be okay. I will admit, that if you are a solo woman traveler, you might feel uncomfortable walking alone outside at night. There are some drunk men outside at night at the bars nearby. But, the hotel is totally quiet and safe. Every night, I was glad to come back to the hotel because I felt peace and safety there. I’m glad for the 24 hour concierge to protect us.

Facility (9/10): Very good spacious room with a lavatory inside (in Paris standard room has plenty of space with a separate table and 2 chairs). Keep in your mind that toilet and bathroom are at the outside and shared. Although shared, they were clean and tidy. They were extremely narrow. If you are very large you might have difficulty in these areas. Hotel has a nice Café at the entrance floor with very good expresso for just €1.2 (it is bargain for a good coffee). You will enjoy every sip of this expresso in the morning. Negative Notes/Warnings: They are not providing slippers. You have to go to the bathroom by bare foot as most of the guests did. Bring your disposable slippers to avoid this. Also, you might prefer to use some water insulation bag (such PE market bag) for the bathroom (since it is too small in size and your clothes may easily get wet if you are not careful). Access (9/10): Proximity to the metro station Marx Dormoy for line 12 is less than 100m (very good). You can directly go to Concorde from this station. You can transfer easily from Orly and back by using Madeleine metro connection to line 14. Public transportation from Orly takes around 1 hour. Logistics (9/10): There is a Fran-prix market for purchasing anything (they are helpful). There are fast-food (McDonald's), brasseries (restaurant-bars), patisseries (very good one with delicious sandwiches and cakes/sweets), and take away grills all around. The area is a cheap and poor part of Paris when compared with central parts. People (6/10): There are too many poor and weird French people in this area. From time to time you might be thrilled by the people around (in the area and inside the metro). I saw some crazy man troubling in front of Fran-prix, and someone from Fran-prix or a client have beaten him with a few punches when the troubling guy didn't step back.

Close to the metro, loved the cafe downstairs, staff were really friendly. Windows were really good, blocked out most of the sound from outside. Overall, a great little place to stay for a couple of days if you're just planning on sleeping here.
Area was a bit dodgy, but didn't have any issues. Have to leave your room key at reception when you leave the hotel, didn't have any issues with this and I'm sure they have reasons for this but felt odd. Pillows were a weird shape and the mattress felt like it dipped in the middle.

Great location, metro/bus station at 100 meters, great stuff, supermarket just opposite the hotel.
Small hall and narrow stairs can be an issue for someone and there is no elevator.

The location of the hotel is perfect and it takes 1-2 minutes from the metro station. The place itself is very nice, the room I booked had a great view, the bed was very comfy, there were fresh towels and a sink in the room, so you could brush your teeth without going to the bathroom. There is a cafe downstairs that provides affordable breakfasts and wonderful coffee. The staff was super polite and kind! Loved the place.
Overall it was excellent for the price paid. The only thing is that the shared shower is super tiny, so you have to keep your clothes inside and hope they don't get wet, and sometimes the lights were not working well, but it was not a big problem :))

The hotel is well located near the Eurostar, close to transport (tube, buses), supermarkets, bakeries and shops. The staff is very helpful: our Eurostar was cancelled and we missed the first night of our stay and they accepted not to charge us for it. There is also a little bar/cafe next to it. 24hs reception. The hotel is quite old but rooms are comfy and clean. The street is pretty quiet. It's a very good value for money.
You can hear noises from the other rooms.

The room was surprisingly larger than I thought for the price we paid, the bathroom had good water pressure for baths and good water temperature. The room was clean, not a lot of noise from the street below despite it being quite busy, it’s very very near to the metro (1 min walking) which was great and convenient.
There’s no elevator and no warning about it when you book the hostel and it has several staircases. Also, the common bathrooms are mid stairs so that’s weird. We had a private room so I’m not sure how that worked for people who share room in the hostel. Lastly, I wouldn’t define the beds as. Comfortable. If you have their 6 usd breakfast, they don’t accept card, only cash. And the timing of breakfast is not super punctual, so be patient.

It’s right in northern Paris, close to the beautiful African market in Goutte d’Or and Montmartre. It is cheap and quite solid all round. The bathroom doors are curved - I was not even aware doors came in that shape, but not only do they but they fit well too! The hotel and its staff are chill and easy-going.
The bed unfortunately had a shallow dip in the middle of its right side. If I lay diagonally so my butt was in it it was okay, but lying straight so my lower back was in it was not good for said lower back. The curtains are not sufficient to keep out the City of Light’s streetlights, necessitating a sleep mask. The (fifth floor) shower has only a single peg to hang your clothes and towel on, and it is very close to the shower itself.

Lovely service by all staff, warm welcomes all around. Clean towels and toiletries everyday, very comfortable. 24 hour security and luggage storage.
One half of the wardrobe was broken, we were cautious to use. No safe box for important belongings in the room, if that is what you want in a hotel room.

one of the few small hotels left intra-muros in Paris where you don't pay a fortune for your stay it's nice to see that the hotel is constantly maintained (really appreciated the new doors for the shower, even if I had slight difficulties for locking) super friendly staff - 24 hour reception and a small bar belonging with the hotel
nothing - exactly what I was looking for
