- Very clean and modern rooms with view on the Bastille. - Central location with the Metro station Bastille right across the street. - It was nice to have a bar downstairs. - Breakfast was ok, but quite expensive for what it was (€14).

- It was quite noisy, we could hear the people outside our window as well as our neighbours in the hallway. This was a bit of a problem especially when trying to sleep at night. The people outside would sometimes scream and chant things. I woke up several times, but my boyfriend didn't hear anything. - Room cleaning was being done quite late. We came back at around 2pm twice and the rooms haven't been cleaned yet. It was no problem asking for additional towels though. - The AC only worked half of the time, but it wasn't such a big deal. - The stairs up to the rooms were quite narrow and uneven. Not a problem normally, but with bigger luggage it would've been difficult.

We had a warm welcome in the evening; the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was tidy and clean with a comfortable bed and a stunning view of the Bastille. You can get to the sightseeing spots by feet (20-40 Mins) or by metro/bus which are right at the hotel area. We would highly recommend the hotel to everyone! Thank you very much and see you soon. From the very friendly checkin we were very pleased. It was 9pm and the bar was quite busy and we were worried it may be noisy after 18hrs flying but the room was so quiet. It was very clean and tidy and the bed very comfortable. The guy serving at breakfast was so friendly and made us feel very welcomed. The breakfast was excellent!! This is a great small hotel in an excellent position in Bastille.

As there is no lift and because we are now 'middle-aged' we had 4 flights of stairs with our bags....... but a fellow helped us up when we arrived and we were very grateful for his assistance........next time we need to pack lighter!!! I did know there was no lift but didn't factor how tired we would be after the long flight.

Such helpful staff, very welcoming yet relaxed atmosphere. The room was exactly as I had hoped. The hotel was very nicely located for transport links and bars and restaurants. It was very close to the area of St. Paul, which was so pretty! Beds were so comfortable and air con too. Very lovely! Although we were above the bar in a busy area, it was almost silent at night from our room on the 4th floor. They had a chess club too- so cool!

Nothing! I really enjoyed my stay and would be happy to stay again.

For over £1000 for three night you expect a decent breakfast? i'm afraid it was far to basic, little options and not interesting at all. Considering this is also France.... they can do a-lot better. We were not happy about it. Sorry but it really did not help the hotel. You can eat outside which is a + point.

Stair case was not good with big bags. We were offered zero help to carry them up. Thats because they simply didnt have the staff to do it. As much as the reception was nice and helpful at the desk, your left on your own of a spiral staircase which frankly is a bit dodgy if your two big bags. Noise from outside can be loud all night over weekend. Windows are good for soundproofing but you need ear plugs if your sensitive. We could not turn off the heating!!

Everything about this place was perfect for what we wanted. Super close to all of the shopping, restaurants, cafes, wine bars, etc of 11, 4 and 3 that we could walk everywhere. Metro is right in front to go to the other neighborhoods. We stayed in two different rooms thanks to a flight delay that brought us back an extra night. The rooms are spotless, beds super comfortable and the water pressure of the shower was so amazing I washed my hair twice (that usually never happens traveling). The rooms in the front have an amazing view of the Bastille, however if you aren't used to a little bit of city noise, the back rooms facing the courtyard are much quieter. Love the secret bookshelf entrance - was very fun and hip. Linens were top notch. You do have to take some "fun" quintessential French stairs up to the rooms, but it helps balance out all the eating and drinking. All of the staff is very helpful and polite, but Paul is definitely the best with his local recommendations! Overall this is a comfortable place to stay if you are looking for something clean, modern and minimal to explore Paris. We'll definitely be back.

A small but nicely together room. This was fine for us for a night in Paris. We had a nice view over Place Bastille and it is a good location.

It was very noisy with lots of loud drunk people on the Bastille over night well into the morning . . .it was Saturday night of course. It was a long walk up the stairs to the 5th floor - it was ok for us, but something to watch out for if you are not steady on your feet.

A lovely hotel at the top of a youthful bar, an ideal choice for young couples. Discover the minimalist accommodation behind the door hidden in the shelf, which is well thought out in every detail and offers outstanding where it really matters: cleanliness, high-quality L'Occitane cosmetics, delicious morning tea. Although there is no lift, it is more ideal for young people. Leave your big suitcase at home, enjoy your stay in OH La La and discover the area, where almost all the sights and classy places are close by!

Everything was amazing.

Beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Paris. Located in the lively neighborhood of Bastille, right beside Le Marais and only a few steps from the metro station. Staff was wonderful and went above and beyond. Room was very comfortable and breakfast was excellent. Highly reccommended, definitvely the place to stay when in Paris!

Perfect location for us. Overlooking Place de la Bastille. Opening the window let in all the sounds of the city. But total silence when closed. We were on 1st floor so the absence of lift was of no consequence. Very convenient for multitude of restaurants. Right beside the Metro and Bastille Opera. Short walk to Pere Lachaise. Nice Breakfast. Very helpful staff.

Some of the tables/seating for breakfast were more suitable for children or very small adults.
