All good. However bar closed on arrival (wasn’t that late) but kindly bar manager poured beer which was able to get after checked in. Staff at reception check in excellent and very friendly and even locked our mountain bikes up in a separate secure meeting room (to ensure safe overnight!) amazing service by them.

If really picky : Breakfast wooden cutting board for bread had grid like design made cutting bread on it very very difficult (basically have to space/line up bread out over thin slats) :) . Also the woman at breakfast was constantly “in the way” of you actually trying to get your breakfast food ie walking infront of you constantly ie many many occasions. Breakfast table “cleared” whilst still eating which didn’t create relaxed feel at breakfast. Hotel bar closed quite early would have thought for residents open slightly longer but was non weekend day.

Easy to find with plenty of on site parking. This is a sprawling hotel without lifts. Our room was at the furthest point from reception/bar/restaurant. To give you and idea, on check out day, we left our room for breakfast after which returned to pack, then back to reception to check out. According to my Smart watch, I covered 1222 steps and two lots of stairs. The handrails are appalling - just narrow boards not allowing any grip. The hotel is set in extensive grounds with plenty of activities for children and of course, a swimming pool. We had dinner in the restaurant, both the food and service were excellent. Likewise, breakfast was very good.

The hotel is well situated for the traveller to stop either on their going further into France or on their way back and lays just off of the motorway. The rooms are easy to access from the car park. Beds are good and there is plenty of hot water

Breakfast was like a microcosm of French society. The business clientele was made up almost entirely of middle aged white men who seemed to be given preferential seating -single person on table for 4. One Japanese lady who was sitting on a table on her own was abruptly told to move as her group had been seated in the bar area. She was in the middle of eating her breakfast and was given no help with any of her dishes not that she should have been made to move at all. This was rude and probably a few other things.

Friendly, attentive and helpful staff, excellent buffet breakfast in a pleasant room and the use of an outdoor pool, terrace garden and gym on site. Restaurant is open for dinner, there is a bar on fire, plus there are other eating alternatives close by that also open on Sundays. Easy to find off the motorway and very handy for a stop over. Plenty of free parking is a bonus. Spacious room with both a shower (very hot water) and bath in the en-suite. Toilet in a separate space was a good facility. Useful to have a fridge and a comfy settee in the room. Rituals toiletries were a nice touch as was the water dispenser in the reception area.

There is no lift which is not ideal if you have a lot of luggage etc. to lug up the stairs. In a 4* hotel, we would expect to have actual cups and glasses rather than flimsy paper cups and stirrers. The bed was quite creaky and the pillows were lumpy. We did not feel that the price we paid was worth the 20€ or more over what we were charged to stay in a Best Western Plus or a 4* Holiday Inn both of which we thought offered a better overall experience and value for money for our overnight stops.

Lovely beds and bedding. Staff were amazing. Kids play area inside was lovely. Setting was super handy for motorway, Macdonald's and a brilliant Carrefour. The outdoor facilities for children looked good but we ran out of time to try them.

Swimming pool was closed! We found a crisp packet and crisp crumbs in our hotel room. However, the staff were amazing and gave a discount on our meal (as the room had already been pre-paid). They also offered to hoover it up straight away which was about 9:30pm at night. Food at the restaurant was expensive and not up to standard.

Our rooms/hall were newly renovated. Breakfast was wonderful with a lot of variety from hot to cold options (eggs, potato, bacon, sausage, fruit, vegetables, deli meat, cheese, yogurt, cereal, pastries, bread, hot & cold drinks, etc). They offered other meals and a bar for drinks throughout the day. The outdoor space was large and wonderful for our family to relax and enjoy the evening (ping pong, pool, bocce ball, playground). Indoor space was very inviting as well and the kids loved the foosball table.

Out room was not fully elevator friendly. There were still a few steps to climb (maybe 5) and we were at the end of the building, maybe 3 long hallways.

Staff was friendly, super charger was directly next to property, could use 1&2 more facilities outside on their huge property for kids but at least they had something already. Kids corner was cute, suggest that the amount of toys be reduced but have a more complete collection of each. Or else the toys are all mixed and incomplete sets, so nobody can really play with anything. Breakfast was a bit of a wait, but the quality and selection was better than other Novotels we visited in France on this trip.

There's no elevator for those who need it.

This is our second time of staying at this Novotel, we stayed also last year. We’ve found it an ideal overnight stop for our journeys further south. For us, it is roughly 2.5 - 3 hours drive from/to the Euro tunnel at Calais & just off the main toll road (there is a Carrefour supermarche & fuel station opposite if required). Free parking. Rooms are accessed via lift or stairs (handrails both sides). Our room consisted of a double bed; desk & chair; sofa-bed; Tv; mini fridge & kettle/hot drink provisions; area to hang clothes; WC; bath & shower cubicle (shower gel, soap & shampoo is provided). Lovely hot & powerful shower! Wall attached hair-dryer in situ too. Within the large reception area, there is a children’s play area & also a couple of separate seating areas for guests to rest/recover/enjoy. There is an on-site bar & restaurant. We had our breakfast (buffet & table service) & evening meals here & could not fault the service with a great variety of food items. Gluten free guests can definitely be accommodated ! Just for info, the honey offered as part of the breakfast service is from the beehives onsite . There are a couple of other restaurants/fast food outlets nearby, but for convenience & good service, we used the on-site restaurant. There is also a fitness suite on the ground floor - I am unable to comment on this facility as I/we did not have a chance to use it. Check in & check out was no problem either - there is also a fast check out service available too. Staff were extremely helpful, courteous & friendly. Would recommend for consideration. Thank you.

Lovely hotel with good facilities. Nice pool area, also big grassy area to play games including 2 boule rinks. Delicious food. Easy to find off motorway. Will visit again if we need a stop over hotel.

A small point but we could have done with a bath mat. After a shower water gets on the floor. If we'd been staying longer I would have asked for one. Position not so good for visiting the centre of Reims unless you are happy to take a taxi. Don't know about buses, may be possible.

Good size family bedroom, very good with two young children (7 and 5y old). Great outdoor space with clean, neat terrace and swimming pool, massive garden, garden games, playground, table tennis table, etc. With the big window in the restaurant we could take our time finishing to eat while keeping an eye on the girls playing in the garden and playground. Convenient location, quick to access and big private car park.

Food was ok but I have seen better at other Novotel.
