The members of staff on the morning we were leaving were genuinely friendly. I was a bit worried from the so-so experience of checking in the night before, and then having to wait to place a room service order while the receptionist had a long chat with a coworker. All that aside, the room was grand and had a little terrace, was decorated to a high standard, and in a good location. Breakfast was fresh, delicious and had a wide range of options to choose from. During our dining experience, the servers were attentive and friendly; nothing seemed to run out and if an item was running low, it was quickly replaced with a fresh item. The front desk staff in the morning were very kind and patient with my French as I'm learning, and they went above and beyond to assist with requests.

Duvets on the beds in the summer with plastic bed liners. Thank goodness the hotel has air conditioning, but that combination on the bed is uncomfortable.

We arrived late in the evening and the staff was super helpful and friendly. We had a very nice dinner and really enjoyed that evening.

Breakfast did not have any options apart from self-service at the buffet. I was not enjoying cooking my egg using unfamiliar equipment everything went wrong, and meanwhile, two members of staff were just watching without offering any assistance. Such a contrast from the night before when everyone was super helpful and kind.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is a stylish new hotel not far from the station. The decor is very contemporary, the room was comfortable and the staff very welcoming and helpful. The restaurant is excellent.

It wasn’t obvious that you could park at the front while you unloaded and got directions to the car parking, which is at the rear of the hotel. The beds have mattress protectors on them which are not very breathable and make you very hot during the night.

We stayed in the Mercure St-Omer for one night on our way to Switzerland from the UK. The hotel was easy to find. There was private parking but we found a space free of charge across the road in front of the hotel. Check-in was smooth and our room was very comfortable and quiet. The hotel is well situated, about 10 minutes on foot from the main area with bars and restaurants. We did not eat dinner at the hotel but the breakfast was good, with plenty of choice and served in a pleasant space. We already have plans to return.

Having someone available for checkout rather than just a key drop would be nice. Fortunately a member of staff was just arriving for shift and immediately sorted out my printed receipt

An excellent hotel for a stopover through northern France. The reception staff were excellent ( incredibly welcoming and very efficient) - just what you need after a long day travelling. And dinner in the attractive courtyard was delicious and very French.

Nothing. It was great for what it needed to do - provide a v comfortable and clean and welcoming place to stay after a long day on the road

A lovely modern hotel with terrific staff and secure parking. Beds and linens were comfy and everything was spotless. The restaurant in the hotel was nothing less than outstanding. We travel thru France 4 times a year and dinner is very important to us. The breakfast was amazing with everything anyone could possibly want..even Crepes !! and lovely breads, jams, juices, yogurt and a huge bowl of fresh fruit salad...and more.

I don't usually care for the super modern look but it was pleasantly appointed..the only real discomfort was the location...not the most comfortable neighborhood and we were glad for the secure parking but walking the dog at night was a problem.

Staff were friendly and attentive; our two rooms were close together; our rooms were large, well equipped, and very clean; breakfast was excellent - large spread with enough variety to suit all tastes.

Parking was suspect - we arrived late, so the staff were OK with our parking in the 15 minute bays out-front, but to say the "on site, 30-space car park" was convenient is a huge leap.

Easy to find, secure parking, the staff very nice and everything was very clean. Our room was very quiet. We didn't have dinner there so cannot comment on the restaurant. Breakfast was a beautiful spread of everything you could want, but if like us, you don't eat much breakfast, it is a bit expensive.

Found the mattress a bit firm and the pillows not comfy but that's personal choice. The door to the stairs opened outwards into the corridor to the lift and we almost got knocked over by another guest flinging the door open and coming out.

Staff are polite and helpful, but sometimes struggle with English, they try hard to understand and do better than my French. The room was well laid out, clean and a reasonable size. We booked parking and it is outside at the rear of the hotel. The bar and restaurant area is very good and breakfast was excellent.

The hotel is 1km from the town centre and there do not appear to be many bars or restaurants on the way, once in the town centre there are lots of options. I was travelling with friends and they presented their credit cards on arrival, but as I had made the booking I have been charged for all 3 rooms. As stated above, this may be confusion in translation, but why take my friends details and not use them ?

Great hotel in a good location. Staff all super helpful and the room was immaculate with everything you’d need. Due to the weather we ate in the restaurant in the evening and so glad we did! The food was really good, the restaurant was full which says a lot. Really impressed and will definitely come back again if we need a stop over on route
