Good location, basic but nice breakfast. Good value for money.

The materace cover on kids' bed was covered in hair, so it should be checked regularly. We only noticed as someone forgot to put the bedding on kids' bunk. The lady in reception might need help at breakfast. I think it's difficult for one person to do reception as well as dishes and serving breakfast for all the guests. First impressions are important, whether it is a luxury or a budget hotel.People smoking in front of the entrance door leaves a bad smell in the reception area.

Very helpful pleasant staff, ready to communicate in English or French as required, convenient ground floor room, reasonably comfortable bed, TV, shower gel/soap, asked for extra towels which were provided without any fuss. Good selection for breakfast, although bread was a little scarce (came down at 9:45), pleasant coffee, bright cheerful breakfast room. Very close to restaurants, supermarkets and fuel.

Wall bracket for the shower head was hard to reach for shorter people. Also my wife who is 5ft 2 inches tall and another lady who was probably 4ft tall both required someone to view and reach items on the top tier of the breakfast servery as the baskets/holders were above head height and not labelled.

Perfect "stop over" location. We were on our way home from South of France and need a place to stay that was close to the highway, but also close to restaurants and a place to get gas. IBIS Troyes Est was exactly that. Very easy to find, Check in and Check out was one process so we could leave immediately after breakfast. Breakfast was simple, fresh and good. We would definitely stop here again.

Room and bathroom modern and generally clean. Bathroom new and shower pressure perfect. Perfect location to break up trip from UK to the Alps. Breakfast provided was good. We arrived very tired at 3am and the night receptionist was helpful and friendly.

Only feedback is that the mattress protector in top bunk could have done with a clean between stays. You had to make your own bed for the top bunk in a triple room so was obvious that the mattress protector had not been cleaned (mainly hairs). The lady on breakfast duty seemed a bit unfriendly.

Fairly quick check in. Clean room. Surprisingly comfortable bed though pillow a little soft and flat. It's a decent pitstop on the motorway. Nothing glam, nothing fancy, but delivers what you expect. Clean, comfy, secure car park, simple breakfast, and off you go again. Restaurants nearby for dinner.

Was hot so had window open and you hear all the morning departures from crack of dawn. Otherwise, it's what you'd expect. An easy pitstop for the night.

The gentleman who checked us in was excellent. He made us and our little dog very welcome on our journey through France and back home . We have rated it above expectations due to the welcome at the reception from this Ibis . Thank you

Nothing, we use Ibis budget all over France 4 or 5 times a year and know what to expect.

Convenient stop heading for the Alps. Located in out of town retail area with a number of restaurants within walking distance. A large supermarket nearby for cheaper fuel and only a few minutes from the motorway. Staff are friendly.

Rooms are very small, mattresses are a bit firm. No facilities for a cup of tea or coffee apart from a rather poor coffee machine in lobby.

A good experience! The hotel is located a few kilometres from Troyes, which was perfect for us. The room was ok and the bed was comfortable. There are quite a few eateries within 200 metres of the hotel which was handy. Secure Parking was a big plus as we were fully loaded with all our holiday gear.

The room was a little dirty, although the bed and linen was immaculate. Some of the lights were non functional.

Bedroom and shower room were as expected. Bedding was plain white which was very basic. Hotel was within walking distance of restaurants, weather permitting. Continental breakfast was welcome and reasonable value.

The receptionist didn't speak English but we didn't have a problem booking in as my limited French was adequate.

A budget hotel well suited to an overnight stay while driving through France. The room was small but clean, the 24-hr reception desk is very convenient, and the buffet breakfast had plenty of choices

I arrived at night and it was not easy to find the entrance to the hotel, since there are no indications on the roads nearby
