Beautiful hotel, receptionist was very welcoming and friendly. The art decor style was really nice, right up my street. Room was lovely and big and the bath was just what we needed after a 6hr drive. We didn't have breakfast as we were leaving before it started.

Amazing staff who can’t do enough for you. So rare to find, but makes you appreciate that it’s the people that make the experience! We left behind my son’s toy bunny. we were messaged by the hotel within an hour of check out letting us know and offering to post it to our next stop. We ended up picking him up on the way home but the team were brilliant at keeping us informed and sent photos that I could show my son of his bunny’s holiday.

Some areas need a bit of maintenance but the beds were comfortable and it was a perfect stop for us heading off to the Alps and we will definitely be back. great value for money.

We booked Hotel Picardy as part of our journey to northern Italy. We arrived to convenient parking, a friendly welcome and a very clean, nicely presented, comfortable room. It was everything we needed. I would like to say, for what we expected, the hotel exceeded our expectations on the restaurant front, with good service and good food. Staff were lovely, efficient and helpful. We would definitely use them again.

Nothing. It is not at all misrepresented in its advertisement and we were both comfortable and well provided for.

Everthing was near perfect and to expectatioons.

Only one comment rather than a critiscism, is our preference for a walk in shower rather than a bath. My wife who has some mobility issues found it hard getting in and out of the bath. This will apply to all of us of a certain age!! Furthermore we both think showers are by design more hygenic and more refreshing, particularly with a full fixed shower rather than a add on for bath, So next time you are re-furbishing some of the bathrooms it is a genuine comment I hope you take on. Otherwise it was very enjoyable. Thank you.

The breakfast was great value and very nice. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We were late arriving due to an accident on the motorway but the staff telephoned to check if all was ok. They assured us someone would be there to check us in and couldn't have been more helpful. The parking was very reasonable, secure and very convenient across the road. The staff had reserved us a space before we arrived.

The air conditioning unit in one of the rooms seemed to be blowing warm air, but the other room was working fine.

One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in in the last few years. The room was large, the bathroom also had a very large separate shower, the toilet was in a separate room. Air conditioning was excellent (it was over 30 degrees outside) Service was second to none, restaurant was high end but not over priced, breakfast was good but not fussy. All in all a delightful experience.

The soap bar in the bathroom was changed every day even though it had plenty of use left. I found that a bit wasteful.

A lovely hotel, very clean and comfortable. Nice decor and charming staff. Very conveniently situated. A short walk into the town centre. Car park opposite (€16 per night, which seems standard for hotels in this region). I informed the hotel of our eta on the morning of our arrival and they sent me the access code for the car park which made the checking in process quick and easy. We didn't have breakfast but ate in the hotel restaurant in the evening, and the food was very good. Would definitely stay here again.

The only thing was the pillows weren't very comfortable. Very minor point.

Happy and helpful receptionist. Parking for our motorbikes just across the road was great. Lifts to access upper floors very welcome. Room spacious and had everything.

Breakfast was adequate and provided in a very "functional" way. Nothin wrong, simply rather impersonal. Bidet in Bathroom did not work. I had specified three "Twin Rooms" through my reservation with Booking.com however when we arrived this had not been seen by the hotel and so they had to re-allocate different rooms across three floors.

Stylish Art Deco design. V well done throughout. Real attention to detail. Super clean, comfortable and welcoming. Lovely spacious adjoining rooms for us and our two teenage sons. Great en-suite bathrooms 👍 WiFi tv etc etc everybody happy! Great breakfast! Perfect for our last night on holiday as a stop over en route to Calais. We enjoyed a digestif in the tasteful bar area before bed 😊 Parking facility opposite good too. V friendly and professional staff. All v easy, smooth and enjoyable. Merci!

Nothing really. Pretty flawless experience for the money - Not really a dislike but lots of (tasteful) fake plants - works with the 1920s theme and watering real ones would be labour intensive!! This is a good value establishment, well kept, maintaining v high standards, so happy to accept some (tasteful!) fake greenery!
