We've stayed at Le Florence maybe 8 times simply because it ticks so many boxes. It's classed as only 2 stars, I'm not sure why. The staff are excellent, reliable, helpful, honest. It's a lovely breakfast, a nice set-up, good parking and despite it being somewhat well-used everything is kept very clean, so you don't really notice. The hotel is easy to find from the autoroute and then it takes only 3 minutes to walk to the city centre, the bars and the restaurants. Le Florence reception staff seem to encourage any attempts at speaking French, but also speak good English. Their booking flexibility is very fair to the customer. It's a sweet little hotel that deserves a good reputation.

Spacious and clean room,altough the building is old,has that eerie touch that makes you think to gost movies,modern bathroom with shower,toiletries and towels provided,also clean.A extra charged breakfast is available at the location restaurant. Staff was curteous and professional, no extra sugary, just at the point.Short but nice stay.

Room floor being carpeted,keeps a mouldy smell,not very strong but noticeable. Also we could listen something overnight like a rodent in the floor or the wall.But never saw one.It can be something common in an old building.Some upgrades can be made to the room.

It is a typical hotel in the centre of the town. Car park is a courtyard at the rear. There are rooms all around the courtyard. The room was small but comfortable. The best thing was the position. The restaurant was not open except for breakfast which we did not have. Also many of the restaurants in town were also shut due to French vacances. However there were some open on the main square and they fit the bill. Very pretty town, beautiful clock and interesting cathedral.

Disappointed the restaurant was closed. Would have liked advance notice of that.

Great hotel, their english wasn’t amazing but enough to communicate what we needed too! Car park is gated which is good but very tight and often no spaces! Rooms were good we had 4 rooms between us and all very different but everyone agreed the beds were super comfy and showers were great! Will be back next year!

Their lack to help us as we had people drop out so we could have saved some money by not having all the rooms we’d booked but it was just a straight no! No compromise at all and that we had to pay it! You also have to pay city tax which we didn’t know about.

I liked the fact it was close to the centre of town so you can walk there and back no problem. The staff were really friendly and helpful, although they didn't speak much English, golgle translate was a life saver as they tried their hardest to help us all.

The only downside for me was the car park area, it was a little small and had to plan our day around coming back in time to park before all the spaces are taken, however there is carpark spaces on the Road and as it turns out a few car parks less than 100 yards away.

V central...right by central square and basilica....so shops, bars and restaurants. Hotel has secure free parking, despite central location. Rooms are large and well appointed for a 2* hotel. Ensuite bright and decent shower. However rooms bit too hot and the shower enclosure had slight leak. Assuming you can cool the room, the electric shutters are a full black out option and the double glazing kept the sounds of the city out Believe they are refurbing. Breakfast was good....even made scrambled eggs for me. Location 10 minutes off the A26 v convenient. Will use again.

We were delayed due to ferry problems caused by strong wind and passport control. The staff were very helpful and someone stayed on reception until we finally arrived at midnight. We have stayed there many times but normally arrive much earlier. Very good buffet breakfast.

We normally get parked in the secure car park but as we were so late the car park was full so we had to park in the street. Not the hotel's fault!

We stopped here on our return to England from the South of France. The room was fantastic, after a long drive. Comfortable, clean and lots of space. The bathroom was huge. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and incredibly good value. Free parking was a huge bonus too.

The parking was a little ad-hoc rather than having designated places. That being said, the hotel can't anticipate how some customers park :D

We have stayed here before, Saint Quentin is ideal for short journey to/from Tunnel Crossing. Le Florence is a nice hotel with adjacent free safe car park and only 2 mins walk from centre. Bar is nice and breakfast choice is excellent. Staff are superb and very helpful offering to carry luggage up the stairs. The rooms are excellent especially the ones with kitchenette.

Stairs are steep to upper levels and no lift but they do have ground level rooms available if you need them.

Friendly helpful staff. great central location, historic centre with many food and drink choices.

Our shower had twist handle, impossible when you had soapy hands. had to put down shower head, open doors and use a towel to turn off! The scrambled egg had run out (9.35am) and the last of it was getting cold. breakfast was being cleared and fridges etc turned off before 9.55am. Definitely felt a rush to get us out. We are leisure travelers and were trying to relax.
