Great location and charming host. Room was a nice size, and quirky in a very natural French style. The building is pretty old so don't expect everything to be 21st century. Eric, the owner, is very friendly and helpful and will chat away in a mixture of French and English. Breakfast was simple but very nice...bread, coffee, juice... Only a few minutes walk down hill to the town centre, basin, and the beach. Free parking outside, if it's not busy, which it wasn't, so don't depend on it. You may have to walk a little way at busy times.

We liked the fact that there were reading lights bright enough to read by; this is a rare thing in our experience. The bed was extremely comfortable, too. Breakfast was delicious and of the highest quality with fresh, artisan bread and pastries, good coffee and yoghurts and fruit juice. The location was very convenient for the town and there was free parking directly outside. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and well-maintained and we liked the traditional furniture and decor; bags of charm. We will be back.

Booked this very last second after a disastrous experience with "Agoda" left us stranded in Dieppe on a Saturday night with no accommodation. The room was spacious and charming, it is a traditional French hotel, and the hosts are great. Didnt have breakfast as we ended up eating very late the night before but it looked very nice. There are plenty of restaurants and bars in the main square and the village/port itself is lovely, a welcome change of pace compared to Dieppe. This was a lucky find for us, highly recommend.

Great location close to the centre of town.Abundant parking outside the door.A stylish traditional building with updates applied and good wifi.Very individual in terms of decor and layout and not a clone of hundreds of others in a chain of hotels.Finding an excellent restaurant just down the road was a big bonus.

No issues worth raising.A little decorating to cover the effects of a holiday season wouldn't be a bad thing.

Breakfast Fairly basic French and a bit slow as we were trying to get away in good time, but the bread was good and fresh. It would have been helpful to have had it served at the same time rather than in bits and pieces, but this may have been due to one of the other guests who talked non stop to the owner and didn't enable him to get on! The room was very clean, although downstairs looked a little scruffy. Good position for looking round the town.

Reception didn't open til 17.00 hours, but I hadn't noticed this when booking.

Our room was across a courtyard into a chalet-type extension. Really quaint, quirky. Host was amazing. Breakfast good for the price. Location excellent for seeing St. Valery's old quarter and for town's restaurants. Easy street parking close to hotel.

Washbasin plug mechanism didn't work - so used our own plug. Hot water took a long time to come through.

Quaint Hotel just up from harbour, bars and restaurants. Ivy covered facade, plenty of parking outside, interesting rooms clean and tidy. Fabulous breakfast with an endless supply of hot bread preserves. Hot milk, coffee, pastries Yoghurt very good

The owner is wonderful; seriously, he’s the best part. Warm, sincere, great attention to detail, thoughtful.... just a really fantastic human being. The hotel is simple and worn but immaculate and charming. We really enjoyed it and talked about the owner and how special he made the visit. Dinner recommendations for a range of tastes and price points, a nice breakfast.... it was charming.

Excellent parking right outside the front door. Very friendly welcome. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The owner recommended a restaurant for the evening which was within easy walking distance. For the price the breakfast was excellent with a good choice and unlimited orange juice and coffee. The hotel was excellent value and we would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is a little dated but some work is being undertaken to update the rooms.

A laid-back Hotel, close to everything. The sympathetic owner is always in for a chat. Nice thrift, unassorted furniture. Great breakfast, big room, comfy bed. The local casino is holding parties on sundays in the summer.

Parking was a bit far.
