We booked this as an overnight stay on our way to the Eurotunnel from Italy. The town, hotel and a petrol station were not far from the A4 motorway and easy to find. Free parking was in the town square next to the hotel. We stayed in the new hotel building opposite the main building. It was modern and had everything we needed. The shower room was excellent. Continental breakfast was buffet style in the same building and had a good choice.

Nothing.

Our room was quiet and airy. The breakfast (available from 06:30) was good. Dinner, taken on a small outside terrace, was excellent as was the wine list. The young man who served dinner spoke little English but still did an admirable job. Parking is free of charge in the main square, about 80 metres from the hotel.

The steep stairs to our third-floor room were dangerous when carrying luggage (no lift). The staff speak little English but are tolerant of poor spoken French.

The position- easy to find- plenty of free parking in the adjacent square- excellent menu- pleasant friendly staff. The young man who served us at dinner was very charming and very efficient.

We were in room 208. My wife hardly slept because of the electrical noise coming from the 4 air conditioning units immediately outside our window. When she complained in the morning we were immediately given a free breakfast- a welcome gesture.

We stayed here on our way home as a one night stop off. The hotel is excellently located in a small town near the motorway. The rooms are in a building across the road from the Cheval Rouge restaurant. Although, the very good breakfast is served in the same building where the rooms are located.

Parking is usually in the town square next to the hotel (we stayed here last year) but this year, there was a celebration happening in the town and the square was closed, so we parked on the road outside the hotel.

Surprisingly quiet considering it is in the old centre of Sainte Menehould. The rooms are on one side of the main street with the breakfast room and very good wine shop. The evening meals are on the side with a choice of fine dining or every day menus, well presented with marvellous chips (my wife said they were best she had ever tasted!)

A little cramped in the bathroom. Fortunately the toilet was separate.

We have stayed at this hotel many times. This was the first time booked through Booking.com. The refurbished hotel opposite is very good. Access to a lift was particularly welcome. It was nice that the brasserie and the restaurant have retained their local character.

Compared with previous visits, the choice of menus and standard of the food was rather depressing, and we acknowledge that this may be a reflection of the aftermath of Covid and the impact on the hospitality industry in the area.

Great location for one night stay on our way to Italy. Very nice room with modern bathroom and walk in shower. Restaurant was great, one of the best meals I have had

The room was a bit warm, but the weather was really hot so not unexpected

2 bed room was very big with another large entrance room, equipped with a table and a couch - good for working. There was even a third bed. One bathroom with a bathing tub and another small toilet room. Like a small flat - very nice.

Breakfast is good but not much choice for cheese or cold cuts.

Evening meal was very good but took ages. We waited an hour for our first course. They plied us with an amuse Bouche initially, but in general the service was bad. Another couple were also disappointed and a family went up to ask when they would be served.

The service. The breakfast was basic.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly. You can eat in the location and the food is good. Rooms are renovated and spacious

There was nothing special about this place. If you are looking for an overnight stay, it serves the purpose well. That is it.
