It is worth every penny just to have breakfast. Homemade yogurt, 3 homemade jams, fruit, bread, muesli, dried fruit, Madelaines from the south of France and more. It is easy to walk into town for dinner. We had a very nice dinner on Sunday. Monday was a bit trickier and many places were closed. There is parking on site. Trust your driving program when you go. You have to turn down a road that looks like a car repair shop. But look to the end of the road and you will see the site. Ideally situated to tour the Verdun historical sites. The site is quiet.

A bit tricky to find.

La Maison Mirabeau is a beautiful bed and breakfast with an incredible garden and setting. My hostess was so helpful and my room and private bath were so large and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and I enjoyed the homemade yogurt, nuts, dried fruits, breads, homemade preserves, special madeleines, and fresh coffee. The B&B is well located to get to the Verdun Battlefield and the Memorial, which are only about 10 minutes away. Enjoyed my stay!

Had a wonderful visit. While not located in town, it is not far to walk into the town.

A small hotel run in more of a B&B style situated within five minutes walk of the river and cafe scene. The hotel has private parking off the road. The breakfast is continental style with many jams and preserves produced locally. Our room was clean, compfortable and of good size with a separate bathroom with an excellent shower. The host is very accommodating. There are losts of book, maps and leaflets about tVerdun and its WWi history to plan your excursions.

Very little. The hotel offers good value for money and is close to the centre of Verdun.

Amazing location in a beautiful house with a wonderful garden located 5 minutes from the Verdun city center. The room is clean and tidy, equipped with elegant furniture, there are also books about WW1 available to the guests. Comfy beds and quite environment. Beakfast was amazing with local products (butter, yogurt, jam) salty and sweet. The owner was super nice, she came to introduce herself and helped us in everything, regardless of my quite rusty French :).

La Maison Mirabeau was absolutely the best place that we stayed all week, and now pretty much the only place in Verdun that I would consider for a future visit. The house is lovely and set back from the main road (which makes it tricky to find the first time). We were met by the owner who was immediately friendly and welcoming and provided a nice spot to park our motorbikes, out of the sun. There are only three rooms. The entrance at the front leads to a well presented lobby, with the breakfast room and a sitting room to the right. Stairs lead up to the three guest rooms. The rooms are really nice. Lovely comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom. All well presented and perfectly clean. It was a hot day and a cold bottle of water was waiting in the room. The whole decor of the place is what I can only describe as "quirky", and I absolutely loved it. Breakfast was delicious. On the second evening we were treated with a cold bottle of beer while sat outside before we went into town for dinner. The real key to the success of this place is the guests, who were just amazing for our two night stay. I certainly hope to return one day.

It was pretty much impossible to not flood the bathroom when showering due to the the three sided design of the shower. Lots of towels needed to soak up the water.

Everything about staying here was great. From breakfast to the rooms to the hostess who was more than accommodating and friendly. I think my favorite part of the stay was the additional dinner that could be purchased/reserved ahead of time. Not only was it a great deal, but the food was wonderful and gave you a real feel of the local cuisine of the area. It was a wonderful surprise.

I stayed here for my visit of Verdun Memorial. The small villa is a bit outside the city center, 5min by foot, which I very much liked as the city center was a fairly touristic so the Maison Mirabeau provides a great calm atmosphere right next to it. The owner is very nice, it is a real French house not a standard hotel but rooms are excellent with very modern bathroom and privacy as in a normal hotel. Couldn't have wished for more during my stay.

This was a fantastic find and more than met our expectations. As soon as we arrived the owners came out to welcome us and showed us the undercover parking for our motorcycles. The room was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was lovely, the home made yoghurt and jams delicious. 5 minute walk to centre of town. Highly recommend!

The property is an attractive house, stylishly furnished with a pretty garden. It is located within easy walking distance from the town centre. The room is large, clean and comfortable and has a modern bathroom. The breakfast was top quality and included homemade jams. The host was charming. We would happily return.

Decor wonderful throughout. Exceptionally clean bedroom and bathroom. Breakfast was simple but locally bought and nicely presented. Excellent host who spoke English too. Nothing was too much trouble. Private parking which was an added bonus. Exceptional property would stay there again.
