The novelty of staying on a barge, right in the centre was great. We enjoyed the view of ducks out of our room window. The air conditioning was excellent and very welcoming when the temperature was 30 degrees.

The room was compact, which we expected because it was on a barge. The decor was very stylish, but practically for a small space there were a few annoying things - the bed frame had sharp corners that we both clubbed our shins and toes on moving around the smaller space. Mood-lighting in the bathroom was stylish but not very helpful. The shower water didn't drain and flooded the rest.of the bathroom. Breakfast was OK, maybe not worth 13€ when it was running out if you weren't the first out.pricing structure was misleading. Is the novelty of staying on a boat worth the other niggles?

Located on the bank of the Meuse next to the main gate of Verdun. Renovated boat with all room below and a bar/restaurant on the top deck. Room was small but with an efficient use of space. Nice breakfast with open air option depending on weather.

Cannot open the windows but expected as you are on a boat and the waterline is near.

The cozy room had all we needed and the bed was great. Breakfast was very good, with a good selection.

It wasn’t clear from the description that the room is in a boat on the river and the sign is a not easy to see. Space is a bit tight but y he layout’s well thought out and finishes are stylish. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Good service and staff. Bedroom is tiny but doable. Great location but still rather quiet. Good breakfast.

It was not easy to get in and out of the shower without making a mess. Not really negative but one have to be aware that the hotel is a boat so there are ever so slightly moving noticeable when you are standing. Not noticeable when you're in the bed.

Lovely location. Nicely decorated rooms, with comfortable bed and powerful, hot shower. Nicely designed.

Curtains did not cover window (room is overlooked by pedestrians walking along river). Toilet flush sprays over bathroom floor. Macerator drainage is noisy, and noise from other guests rooms and bar/breakfast area travels.

Marvelous breakfast. Loved being on the river barge! Didnt know what to expect. Was very nice, clean and comfortable. Manager was great - gave good recommendation for dinner. Excellent location for touring Verdun area.

The novelty of staying on a barge when we had no idea it was one when we booked online via our small screen and poor eyesight! Really well appointed and couldn’t be in a more central location.

Toilet paper had to be put to the bin on the side. Very small bathroom. But not surprising as it is a boat cabin :)

This is refurbished large barge. It has been fitted out to a very high standard. We had a drink on the top deck along with breakfast in the morning. Car parking is in a public car park around 50 meters away.

It's very cool to sleep in an old barge on the river. Wonderful location near restaurants and bars along river.. Great place to stay while visiting WWI sites near Verdun.

Not enough hot water in the morning. Bar closed too early.
