The hotel is in an excellent location enabling easy access to the Old Quarter, cathedral etc. It was surprisingly easy to drive to with sat-nav from north or south. No problem with parking. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are excellent! The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable.

We had problems getting the air-conditioning to work in the superior room on our first stay. Our second stay in a standard room was better. We feel that booking a standard room offers the best value for money.

Lovely and welcoming staff, and made my stay special. The hotel is as it names implies in a central location with its own car park. Excellent for visiting the city of Tours. The desk staff are a credit to the company,. For the comfort of the rooms and the location the hotel is excellent value. As a sign of the helpfulness of the desk staff is the fact that when I arrived at the airport for departure I realised that I had left my phone in the Taxi. The airport desk contacted the Hotel who informed that Taxi frim and had the phone returned to me . Which I was impressed with their 'after-care" of me as a client. The breakfast is excellent and the lady in the breakfast room very friendly. If staying I would recommend adding the breakfast to the stay.

When I asked at reception for an additional coffee sachet and milk tub I was informed ( by two separate receptionists) I would be charged Euro E4.50! When I queried the price I was told it was the manager’s policy. found this extortionate so declined.

A traditional hotel which is calm, spacious and clean. Good breakfast. Very well located for key sights and a wide variety of restaurants. Parking in such a central location was very convenient. Tours is well located for visiting the chateaus of the Loire valley. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it from 3 nights to 5.

I wouldn’t say “ dislike” but i think the hotel could do with a fresh lick of paint in a brighter colour as the building is looking a tad tired ! but then again this is my personal opinion and I’m sure lots of people will disagree with me lol 😂 it didn’t distract from the good overall experience of our stay in Tours and we’re sure to return for another stay 😁👍

Superb location in a quiet neighborhood

We had requested two twin beds many months in advance but got a queen bed instead. We requested a room change on arrival, but didn’t get it even though our stay was for 5 days. The breakfast was expensive for what was in offer, so we ended up going to a nearby restaurant which was cheaper and better in quality.

Excellent location, secure parking which is extra, room clean

Bed too small, we paid for room in advance & on arrival paid for parking, small dog & taxes. On departure we were in the car when the receptionist accosted us to ask us for payment of parking etc. we explained we had completed transaction on arrival I advised I would check banking & contact them direct if payment not processed. On checking our banking we had paid. I felt the way we were spoken too was quite aggressive, we felt embarrassed & did not reflect well on the hotel.

We had a family room and I’d expected us all to be in together but we had two rooms, so a suite instead which was a great. Really comfortable, blacked out rooms with the shutters, really clean, a very helpful concierge when we got there. We stayed as part of a stopover en route from the south to Calais and it was a gem of a stay, a real bonus on our journey home. We would love to visit Tours again and would stay here.

Reception staff, Etienne, a very professional and warm welcome. Allowed me to continue in my limited french, and he also kept to slower french to help me, rather than switching to English - very grateful to him for offering which language I would prefer and thereby allowing me to practice my french. Room very clean. Location ideal walking to centre. Breakfast also good. Secure parking was also a reason I stayed here as lots of ski kit in car overnight.

As expected, a nicely appointed hotel which was comfortable and provided east access to the old town and its restaurants in the evening. The room was reasonably spacious with aircon and tea/coffee making facilities (but the choices were limited perhaps by not being serviced before arrival). I really enjoyed an afternoon and evening drink in the rear garden. Parking was off-street, too.
