We stayed at La Marebaudiere in August 2023 for a couple of nights whilst on a roadtrip down to Bordeaux. The hotel has it's own car park and is conveniently situated within easy walking distance of the main area of Vannes, including all the main tourist sites, restaurants and shops (between 5 and 15 mins to get to most places). The room was clean and tastefully decorated with good facilities, but only had a small velux window. This didn't bother us too much as we were out most of the time. The aircon was a little noisy and needs attention. Breakfast was a selection of hot and cold buffet food and was perfectly adequate for what we needed and there are so many restaurants just a short walk away. Ideal as a stopover if you're visiting Vannes for a couple of days and don't want to be right in the centre of town. Vannes itself is stunning and there is so much to see - would highly recommend!

Location is good, easy 20 minute walk into the centre of Vannes, although there are restaurants and bars nearby too. Parking was very easy. Bed was enormous and very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very quiet at night and we slept well. Breakfast buffet had lots of choices, including some excellent local cheeses.

Room was on the small side with very little storage space, and the toilet was on a raised platform which made it uncomfortable to use. For the price and star rating, air-con would have been a bonus although there was a fan in the room. We arrived at breakfast just after a tour group had left and there were lots of items missing, such as bread and eggs, which weren't replenished during the time we were there.

Room was clean and tidy. All staff friendly and helpful. Near to Vannes old town as planned for ease of walking. Good choice for breakfast, well laid out and lovely lady working very hard during breakfast service. All in all, a good, clean, central and friendly hotel, would definitely stay again.

Tea making facilities could be better with black tea and proper milk cartons offered. Only coffee or fruit tea bags in room, and very tiny cream cartons. Minor issue, but a service we like to use.

Great location about 10 minutes walk to the downtown, port and restaurants. Free parking facilities at the hotel were an extra draw. Good quality and tasty breakfast. Very comfy bed. Room was clean and very quiet, though there were some noises coming from the pipings at night. Friendly and helpful staff. Wifi worked perfectly.

Good location, very clean, extremely friendly and helpful staff, the breakfast was very good. We could borrow 2 bikes for half a day with no charge, which was very helpful for visiting the town. The private sauna included in the room price was also very comfortable and relaxing. The beds were very comfortable! It was very quiet during the night even with open window.

Great hotel with a good location in town. Nearby to all the main sites. Staff spoke good English, were friendly and understanding. They welcome dogs which is a great bonus. The parking is large and sufficient. The room had all basic amenities, good shower pressure, comfy size King bed.

The floor carpet in our room was rather dated and dirty.

The hotel is well situated for touring Vannes. Ample parking at the hotel and staff were helpful. We liked the map we were given listing restaurants and points of interest in the town. The room although smallish was comfortable and the shower good. Breakfast was good but disappointed that there was no fruit. We had to cancel one night at the last minute due to a family emergency and were not charged - a big plus for the hotel! Would definitely return next time in Vannes.

Parking very good. Easy walk into old town. Room fairly small but efficiently designed. Better value for money than some other hotels we stayed at on our tour - by car..

Exterior quite smart but interior rather bland. Could have made more of garden.

Parking was excellent, plenty of space and secured overnight with gates closed. Very safe. Room was comfortable but a bit warm, no air conditioning but a fan was provided. Breakfast was very good selection and good value for money

We only stayed for 1 night and found everything was ok, apart from no towels had been left in our room and the safe was not working
