Consistently warm and welcoming staff, clean and quiet room overlooking the Main Street (we slept well), very well located for a walking tour of Vichy, and excellent breakfast in a tastefully decorated dining room.

We arrived after a long journey hoping to eat in the hotel but the advertised restaurant is now not open in the evenings, and their recommended restaurants were not all open to choose from.

The location is wonderful and the staff is extremely helpful.

I will like just to point out, in case you are traveling with a baby like we did, that we ask for a cradle, but the hotel provide us with a cradle but without mattress. We end up sleeping with the baby in our bed. I think it would be very nice from the hotel to have mattresses y not to only provide the cradle.

On a previous stop in Vichy we had stayed in a different hotel but eaten at the excellent restaurant in this hotel. On this trip we hoped to eat there again and booked this hotel not knowing it was the one attached to the restaurant. We were delighted to discover that it was indeed the same hotel but very disappointed that as it was a Sunday night the the restaurant was shut! Despite this we found the hotel extremely comfortable, friendly and excellent value for money. We had a very pleasant room with 3 windows and a balcony over the typically French square. We were able to park our trailer in the owners’ garage and our car in the square opposite the hotel. The staff were very friendly, particularly the manager Irena. The location of the hotel is excellent, just by the bridge into the old part of town, close to the river/lake, spas, main park and shops. We definitely return to this charming hotel.

Very minor points were lack of milk for the English tea bags or provision of herbal/fruit tea in the room and location of the wc paper dispenser and shower head. But really , particularly for the price and the rest of the decor/ambiance, it was really excellent.

Staff are very pleasant. Breakfast is exceptional. The best surprise we had was free parking on the square directly in front of the hotel. And the location is perfect for accessing restaurants in town and beach bars along the river.

All fine - no complaints really. Lift a bit small - but they all seem to be in this town!

no hotel parking space close to the hotel (there is free public parking in front but it was full and there is a parking garage a short 5 min walking away. no problem but after a long day and with small kids it would have been nice to park right in front)

Beautiful building tastefully decorated. Very helpful friendly staff. They made us feel very wwlcome. Comfortable bed and lovely balconies and great location for a quick walk in the morning to see the interesting architecture. Amazing value for money.

The restaurant was good but a bit of a strange starter. It was various cold things that had been grilled. Endive tomato prawns cabbage all once grilled but served cold. Didn't work for me. The fish cookery of the main was excellent but the risotto still a bit crunchy in the middle. The carrots with the fish tasted of beef which was also bizarre. We were very tired though and glad to have something. The dessert was excellent.

The style of the hotel , the location and the lounge area at the entrance. We enjoyed our morning coffee in the foyer lounge. The room was lovely and overlooked the tree-lined square . The staff were friendly. The parking was easy and free. The location was great. My son ran 10kms along the river . We all had dinner on the river . The history , the architecture and the general ease getting around made Vichy a perfect stop over on the return to Caen from the South of France.

The carpet going up the stairs could be changed to a colour that was a bit brighter .

We were very pleasantly surprised with our choice. Excellent value boutique hotel. Warm reception, comfortable room, immaculate and hotel centrally situated. Breakfast good standard with many local products.

Lovely good value hotel in the centre of the city. Location is perfect. Free parking right outside on the square. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was standard buffet and plentiful. Beds were very comfortable.

The bathroom and toilet is a little dated but it is a very old building.
