We were visiting from the US to see old friends in Ahrensburg. The location proximity to the train station, their house, and the nearby castle were outstanding! It was also very convenient to walk into the town center to access, shops, and restaurants. The accommodations were very comfortable. We were very pleased that they had oat milk available for morning coffee to accompany an excellent breakfast as my wife has dairy issues. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area.

Fitness room and sauna were being remodeled and not available.

Stayed at this hotel for one night as we were unable to find space in Hamburg proper. Having tried it I would love to come again for a proper visit, as we only saw the beautiful castle nearby on our way out. Room was quite comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was tasty with a lot of choices.

We got the impression from the hotel's website that breakfast was included for all rooms, but it turns out we had to pay extra. Checking in took quite some time as the receptionist was keeping our keys in a pile with a bunch of others and we had to help him sort them out.

The light in the bathroom was broken (worked one out of 2 lights only), as a result - pretty dark No curtains, every morning i was awake with sunrise, which is early. On my luck i had a sleeping mask (window blinds don't cover all the size of windows). That wasn’t my very first stay here, previous time i remember my room was better

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The ladies on the reception did everything to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Room was, as expected big. I was alone but I had a room for 3-4 people. Breakfast was ok, not sure that it was 15€ worth but still fine. Pancake mashine made everything better. :-)))

Good breakfast (worth of money too), spacious room for 4 people, our dog was considered nicely too (water, food, own small "mattress"). Super fast check in and good parking (if your vehicle is below 1.95m). Hotel was definitely a positive surprise and value for money.

very cosy but modern atmosphere. nice furniture, good bed, big tv screen, nice coffeemaker in te room.. very warm welcome for the dog with bowls for food and water as well as a dogbed

breakfast a little late for us (but we had to leave early) . coffee was not as good as all the rest..

Nice clean good sized room in good location. Comfortable bed.

Washbasin was set back too far (approx 18cm) from front on counter. Soap dispenser located at opposite end of counter to sink. No central room lighting so only dim light available.

Very friendly staff. The hotel has an 'old fashioned' feel but with a few splashes of modern design. Parking was offered at a reasonable rate.

The WiFi in our room was terrible. Not sure if it is better in other locations within the hotel or if this is something that is generally slow at the property...

The cleanliness and quality of the furnishings in the hotel. The friendly ambience that exists throughout and of course the best breakfast -fresh with a wonderful choice

No fridge in the room. Very nice bakery serving breakfast just across the street, cheaper and nicer than the breakfast option at the hotel restaurant.
