The room was large, clean, and exactly what we needed. Our older teenage daughter had her own room and privacy, but still connected to ours which was nice. The bathroom was very nice and the tub was big enough for my 6'1 fiance to be able to fit into with his legs straight. The breakfast every morning was great! They have beer and wine for purchase at very reasonable prices. The location was close enough to town to make it a short walk in the cold/ snow, but not so close that we were bothered by any street or pedestrian noise.

Staff were only at the desk during breakfast. Questions thought of later in the day or issues that arose later had to wait until the next morning.

Very pleasant hotel located in a quiet neighborhood next to the historic city center. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. What I especially loved was the breakfast - a great variety of breads, meats, eggs, cheeses, vegetables, fruit and cake to choose from, everything fresh and delicious. The coffee was great too, and the availability of cold mineral water and hot boiling water together with a collection of teabags and instant coffee was a nice touch, one could get an apple and hot drink for free any time during the day or night. The staff was very friendly, though available only during the mornings. However, we had no problems checking in using the entry code provided by the staff, and finding the room and key was super easy. Perfect value for money! This was my second stay in this hotel, and both me and my colleagues are very satisfied and would recommend to anyone.

For us all was great. People may not like the fact that the reception is not open all day (only in the mornings), the room was a bit cold at times. The rooms are not cleaned every day due to unavailability of staff and to cut down on costs, but we did not mind this at all. The towels could be larger and thicker. However, these are all very minor issues, more than compensated for by the low price of the hotel. Quiel location, breakfast and free coffee were far more important to us. than daily cleaning

Excellent location within easy walking distance of town centre, good choice for breakfast. Shower room was lovely, very comfortable, spacious rooms, clean. Wifi was excellent. Didn't really see all the staff, but the occasional staff at breakfast was very friendly. Great Italien restaurant within minutes of the hotel - Toscanino

Coffee machine at breakfast was not adequate for the number of guests. Coffee just dripping through, taking a very long time. Weather was fantastic and if Bamberg continues to see that level of heat they need to consider putting in Air-Con. Perhaps consider 3 hours breakfast slot, and fill breads, croissants and fruit more regularly.

What a little gem! We loved this place, the owner was very kind and the room was clean and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, easy parking on the street and very close to the old city. The buffet type breakfast was the best we had in our whole trip, it was better than in 5-star hotels, and I'm not joking. One night wasn't enough, we will come back! Danke schön!

lovely quiet location but easy walk to station and old town area. nearby forest walking paths were lovely. clean & comfortable room & great breakfast . staff courteous & helpful.

all signage was in German, which was not helpful for an English speaker and as no concierge, no one to ask.

Nice hotel, beautiful and clean room, perfect for a family with 2 children, good and comfortable beds, and a good breakfast.

No private parking space - but a parking garage nearby. No restaurant in the hotel - but we loved the Indian restaurant close by, which also served pizzas (so ideally for the kids).

Very close to the center (but if you travel by car use their info where to leave a car, the hotel has no parking space, we have left it at P&R some 900 m from the hotel), as reception was not open in the evening the info how to get the key was sent by Booking message (check it) - it was well organised. Water and vending machine with drink inside. Very nice style.

Room 34 was very spacious with quiet surroundings even though it was a vert central location, fabulously varied breakfast. Will stay again...

Tv could have had a chromecast or similar facility. But really only incredibly picky guests could complain about anything.

Great location, walking distance from the centre, in an elegant, cozy and calm neighbourhood. As we arrived Sunday evening, the automatic check in was a bit like an escape room reversed:) but it could be easily handled. The breakfast was great, the bathroom nice and spacious. We even had a balcony:)
