arriving at the hotel in a busy one way street, it would have been helpful if I had been told how to access the garage first and then to access the second floor to get to the reception. I upset quite a few locals with my car trying to park outside then hotel. Also I had difficulty in leaving the garage. My ticket did not work and I'm not sure the reception lady believed me until she tried it herself.

After another accommodation place let us down we needed a last minute hotel in Bamberg. Ibis Styles was available at an okay rate considering it was a last minute (6pm) booking on a festival weekend. I was also able to print some documents at no cost through the reception desk.

No parking was available at the hotel, but that's understandable considering our late arrival and the fact that it was a festival weekend. The staff directed us to another car park less than ten minutes walk away.

Ibis Styles Bamberg is centrally located and walking distance from everything. We needed 24-hour reception due to our late arrival and a clean room with bathroom, and those are exactly what we got. It's a no-frills, functional, and practical hotel which is what you expect from Ibis.

I inquired about parking at the hotel property, but no one apparently monitors exactly how many slots are available. I was instructed to come, but in the end we needed to park two blocks away. The receptionist needed a long time to settle a customer's concern and gave the impression that she didn't know what she was doing.

The Location of the hotel is in great walking distance to everything. The room was clean and quiet even though our room faced the main street. the bed was nice and comfy.

Since the hotel is directly downtown and the hotel parking lot was already full we asked the front test worker for parking advice. As a tourist unexperienced with the neighborhood we expected to get the information but she just shrugged of her shoulders, without any effort to help us. Eventually Google gave us what we needed to know.

as always it’s clean efficient and is perfect for my visit with family.

possibly breakfast some GF bread/croissants /cereals and more hot food options for non meat eaters like baked beans / tomatoes/fried eggs even scrambled egg had bacon init which is not great for non meat eaters !

Situated in the middle of Bamberg. Really friendly staff, Drinks available all day inclusive for guests. Comfy rooms and good choice and quality of breakfast

Great place in the heart of the city. Convenient underground parking. A comfortable room. 24-hour availability of coffee, tea and water - vending machines at the reception - free of charge. Tasty breakfast.

Great central location close to the city center. Good breakfast. Room was very modern and had new carpet so it smelled very fresh. Staff was friendly. Very pleased with the accommodations.

Bicycle storage in garage.

Avoid getting room with window/balcony in the corner facing inside - chance is your neighbor from adjacent room will stand in his for a smoke/breath and have a great view of you laying in bed. Also in case he is a chatterbox or a TV addict you wont be able to leave the window open at all. Which leaves you with a noisy AC. Also rather expensive for a room of that size. You have to take your loaded bicycles though the elevators to get to the garage. Lots of time wasted to wait for empty elevator - woukd be better to allow the bikes through the ramp :(
