I rarely give a rating of 10 but the Burgblick got everything right - check-in was quick (and earlier than many hotels), staff were helpful and spoke English. They found us a table for dinner in the in-house "Ochs" restaurant, the room was large and light with plenty of storage, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom modern. Facilities including tea and coffee-making in the room, quality toiletries, and a large, comfortable bed. A wide selection of breakfast items was offered. Wine from their own Weingut was available for purchase. We appreciated the secure bike storage since we were on a cycle tour.

location nice and quiet at night, restaurant Ochs was good nice music and ambiance, breakfast was plentiful and fresh. walk up the steps, located behind the hotel through the vineyards to Lieser, Staff were friendly! good bus connections from Forum. parking nearby.

squeaky floor in our room no 25 hope it didn’t disturb the guests below. Ran out of hot water a number of times during our 3 night stay however my partner got lucky each time!! need to increase hot water storage capacity to accommodate a full hotel. guests who booked through booking.com portals etc had to pay an extra €16 per couple to use the sauna. We did not need it but it should be made clear on the booking.com website prior to booking.

The food at the hotel´s restaurant was super good and included an extensive wine menu. General ambience and facilities as expected for the location. Our room was comfortable and nicely equipped.

The views that give the hotel it´s name don´t apply for the majority of rooms since we were allocated in a side building next to the parking area. Can´t say I was made aware of this while booking. Some fixtures in the room could benefit from readjustments and repairs.

A great European style breakfast, eggs cooked to order when you arrive, fresh breads from a local bakery, large selection of foods which should satisfy anyone. Very attentive staff.

A more comfortable sitting chair in the room for the times when I had work on my computer would have been nice, but the furniture is only suitable for very short periods of sitting.

Nice old building which was totally modenisized inside - and very tastefully so. Extremely cosy and nice interior. We had our room in the top floor, it was large and lovely. Breakfast was really good, too. Walking distance to all places in Bernkastel-Kues.

Next to the church. So if you are a light sleeper and/or want to sleep a little longer, you might want to take this (early church bell) into consideration.

Nice and quiet location. Good buffet breakfast. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds.

Not much, except that walls and doors are rather thin. Even feeble noises, such as a person walking normally on the stairs, can be heard in the rooms. Beware if you are person who can very easily be woken up. We were counting on the restaurant in the hotel, but we found it was closed only when we arrived. However, there are several other options just 5 minutes drive on the other side of the river.

The name Burgblick is no mere poetry: from the rooms in the back you really have an amazing view of the medieval castle ruin on the hill!! We sat for over an hour just looking out the window and it was great to have a coffee machine and free coffee in the room.

Getting here by foot from the train station is a bit of a hike, although the location per se is not bad at all (the train station is in Bernkastel, the hotel is in Kues). There is no elevator so you have to shlep your suitcases up the stairs: but if you get a room in the back with a view of the ruins, it is well worth it!!!

The breakfast was great. A Lot of fruits, veggies, and meat they have to offer. Staff even cooks if guest wants eggs or etc.

Restaurant seating. Could of allowed guest to choose their seating since no tables were reserved. Only one waitress so as more people came to dinner longer wait times for food and drinks is expected.

Excellent breakfast with fresh made eggs. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for dinner, but the very friendly staff made an excellent recommendation to the brewery in town. The parking lot holds around 10 cars, and was very easy to park in.

We stayed on the third floor, and while not a problem for us, there is no elevator in the hotel, so you might find yourself breathless by the time you get to your room.

Staff was very friendly and spoke very good English. Breakfast was great with eggs made by request. Restaurant had great collection of wines. And the area seemed to us one of the best ones in whole Mosel.
