The staff was very accommodating. The location was ideal for exploring Bernkastel and its immediate surroundings. The hotel was quiet and relaxing.

The directions for how to drive up to the hotel to load and unload the luggage. We got lost and confused, and had to walk a bit of a distance with our luggage after parking.

Great place, definitely worth the money! The room and bathroom were spacious, and the staff was very friendly. I really appreciated the complimentary drinking water bottles in the room—a nice touch. Highly recommend staying here.

If the lake or the view was visible, it would have been priceless.

this hotel is located in the center of the ancient village.. However the rooms are looking a bit worn out with paint missing in some places, the furniture and beds are new and comfortable, and the bathroom modern and brandnew. Very quiet location, so we had a good nights sleep. The owners are extraordinary friendly. When my wife checked out without having breakfast for passing the sceduled time, they insisted on serving her a coffee, bread and coldcuts, and fresh made eggs on top....

Some paint job would make it complete, but that is just make-up..

A nice hotel in the middle of historic center in Bernkastel-side of the river. Everything You need in a few hundred meters distance. If You take the walk to the castle Landshut the stairs starts just outside the entrance. Next door is a lovely winebar founded 1416. We were worried about the noice from the street but got room number 13 at third floor. That was real luck for us :) Quite and a low temperature with a lot of space. The hotel also has a terrace and the breakfast was fully enough.

The ceiling in our room was low. No problem for us but if you are more than 190 cm long you have to watch up.

The location really couldn't be better, exactly in the middle of the beautiful village. The building was quite old which make it quite unique to be honest. Of course inside was everything clean, new and well prepared to have the best time! We got really late for the check in but the personal was still waiting for us there and was very helpful and kind. It was also pet friendly which was very important for us!!

The breakfast was very basic and is the only thing I think we could still improve.

Perfect location, less than 100m from the Market Square. The hotel was very clean and the staff was excellent.

Very noisy location: We completely expected this - you can't stay right next to the center of town in the middle of a wine festival and expect peace and quiet! There are a few creaky and uneven floors which should also be expected in all very old buildings - the charm and location more than makes up for this.

Location fabulous. Price excellent. Breakfast satisfactory. Pleasant surroundings. Terrace nice to have ut needed massive overhaul and cleaning to be valuable.

nothing but Wi-Fi is not working sometime on second floor and need to carry ur luggage to ur floor you stay coz no elevator but it is not a big problem
