The room had everything we needed, was beautifully clean - and loved being able to fully open the windows instead of using air conditioning. The breakfast buffet was outstanding.

Buffet dinner was disappointing. Hot dishes not hot, nothing there for kids. I like vegetables lightly cooked, but most were way too under-done. Dessert yoghurt/fruit and the mouse were delicious. It would have saved a lot of anxiety if I had been warned about the car sticker I needed to drive in Bochum. As it was, I applied for one the morning we left Belgium for Bochum, but it didn't arrive until 3 days later. At least tell travellers where they can buy the stickers other than online when booking last minute!! As it was, we didn't get stopped, so we were OK.

I stayed at the hotel again, for the first time since Covid, as I was seeing Starlight Express which is right next door. The reception and dining room staff were extremely welcoming and all spoke English which was a great help for someone like me who is lacking in the German language! The bedroom itself was immaculate and breakfast and other meals excellent.

Having to return home to England after such a relatively short stay. Will definitely return when I see Starlight Express again.

Very friendly attentive staff of hotel. We couldn't have breakfast in the hotel, the staff offered a lunch box instead. That is excellent service! Safe spacious parking for cars at 8€ cost. Sauna in hotel is free and very clean. Comfortable beds, airconditioning and feather duvet!

Proximity to the theatre Starlight Express was excellent. Lovely cultural area. Comfortable beds and rooms. Very good breakfast. Staff excellent and all spoke English.

No tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom. Not enough mirrors in the room.

I’ve been here before and it was same standard of great quality as ever. so much value for money. loved the coffee machine that was new and a very great touch.

unfortunately the bar closed in its ‘quiet’ times as if presuming we were at the theatre. and we’re refused a drink until the show ended at 10.30 pm

The hotel looks a bit dated from the outside, but the rooms are really updated and fresh. The hotel is conveniently close to the Starlight Express theatre.

The restaurant is understaffed. This was especially noticeable during dinner, unacceptable because we had to rush eventually even though we had 1.5 hours in total.

Breakfast is very good, nice selection. Location of the hotel is convenient, close to highways but at the same time not noisy area. Good value for the money.

Staff is very kind and helpful. The location is great if you have to go to the hospital or any of the events around.

The corridor of my floor smelt like tobacco, although it is prohibited to smoke there.

It was veryyyy clean and the staff was also very accomodating and friendly.Breakfast was also very good.

Better would be just fill the body wash and put a sheet in room about reception number to be called.
