I was thoroughly impressed with the breakfast at the hotel. The variety of options was remarkable, catering to all tastes and dietary preferences. The presentation was inviting, and the staff was attentive, ensuring everything was replenished promptly. The ambiance was pleasant and welcoming, providing a great start to the day. Overall, it was a memorable experience that added significant value to my stay.

While my stay at the hotel was very comfortable, I noticed a few areas for improvement. The absence of a minibar in the room was a bit inconvenient, especially for guests who prefer to have refreshments readily available. Additionally, I was surprised that there was no complimentary water provided for making coffee or tea. Offering these basic amenities would greatly enhance the guest experience and provide a more welcoming touch to the stay

Room was very clean, modern, comfortable and quiet. Lots of tv channels available. Breakfast that was included had a good selection of items from which to choose, including eggs, yogurt, pancakes, fresh fruit, baked goods, cheese, meat. Loved the little bags provided so that we could take something to go as well. Easy to get to the hotel from the train station by walking.

The check-in was less than ideal after a long flight and train ride. I arrived at 12:20 and early check-in was available at 12:30 for IHG members. Staff told me I had to wait and asked if I wanted some water. I said sure and then was asked how I wanted to pay .... really? It cost 6.80 Euros for a large bottle. He left and told me that he would check me in when he got back. Another staff member took over the counter, when another guest arrived to check in. She checked her in right away. How does this make any sense??

This hotel was a short walk from the train station, and was conveniently located close to markets, restaurants, and shopping. Everything was clean and comfortable. We were greeted by Sonja, Johnnie, and Oscar and they were very friendly. We had some trouble getting the AC to work in our room and they were extremely helpful and changed our room when we couldn’t get it running.

The AC in the first room wasn’t running properly, but there was no maintenance on staff at the time so they were able to adjust our accommodations to another room.

The hotel is in the centre of Bochum, exit the hotel and you are in the centre. Parking is underneath the hotel in a public garage for an acceptable daily rate. Beds great, but the bedlinnen for a double bed is so small that one person is left out in the cold. Hotel is brand new. Loved the hotel. Breakfast great except the juices. Friendly staff.

The mentioned bed linnen / covers. The hotel needs to do something about that. I do not know what kind of "juice" comes out of the machine at breakfast, but you really cannot call this orange juice.

Good location near stores and a mall. Breakfast was good and had enough variation. The underground parking was easy to reach and not that expensive to park there for a whole day/ night.

Just 2 down points. It would have been nice to have a mini fridge in the room for cooling some drinks, wich is of course, not a must but would be a great benefit. Also the space to store clothes could have been better. For a business trip nevertheless, it had everything it needed due it was only 2 nights.

LOCATION RIGHT DOWN TOWN BUT VERY QUITE B FAST EXCELLENT INCLUDING B FAST BAGS AND COFFEES TO TAKE AWAY. WE DID LIKE AS IT SAVES A LOT OF COSTS AND FOR THE NONE B FAST EATERS LIKE US VERY GOOD OPTION COULD KEEP ROOM ANOTHER TWO HOURS LONGER WHICH WAS PRIMA FOR OUR DEPARTURE

WE LIKE EVERYTHING WE EVEN INVITED MY BROTHER FOR AN OVERNIGHT HE LIKED IT TOO HE LIVES IN GERMANY BIELEFELD AND TOOK US ROUND THE CITIES TO OUR FAMILY MEMBERS

New building, very clean and comfy, central location, friendly staff.

Confusing (and mandatory) elevator system. You have to activate the elevator with your room card AND select the target floor afterwards. You cannot use the stairs to get to your room (at least we didn't manage to do so). The breakfast was a little disappointing for the price. We got more for less in a bigger town recently.

Unless I missed it - Information books could be provided in the rooms with local information and the hotel facilities + instructions how to control the heating/air con. I figured it in the end but it wasn't entirely straightforward for a first timer using it.

I loved the location of the property, really in the center of Bochum and close to the location of the train station. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was amazing (what a nice surprise!).

I think it was a bit too expensive for a three star hotel, especially in a smaller city like Bochum. Apart from the price, everything was as great as expected.

At the heart of city, very close to HBf. Silent and brand new. Grab&Go bag in breakfast buffet was an excellent gesture for taking away the self made sandwich.

There was only scrambled egg in ‘hot’ part of breakfast buffet. ‘Bacon’ and ‘wurst’ are the German classics for breakfast buffets and definetely must be placed in the buffet.
