Location is great - near the central train station (~12 minute walk), very near tram stop and bus stop options, very near the central downtown area full of shops and restaurants, reasonable distance to some supermarkets. Bed was comfy, bathroom was a good size with a spacious shower. Breakfast was lovely with many options - lots of types of breads, multiple muesli options, coffee, tea, several juices, several yoghurts, fruit, vegetables, cheeses, meats, labeled vegan options - basically pretty easy to find something for anyone. Also had a small fridge in the room, which was handy.

Weird motion-detection lighting in the bathroom which was not sufficient without turning the light on manually. Figuring out the main door downstairs made me feel dumb - I definitely was standing there for maybe two minutes the first time. XD

When we arrived at the hotel it was a "front door" onto the pavement but when we went inside it opened into the reception and the breakfast room. The staff were really pleasant and helpful and our room was quite large with our own air conditioning unit. The breakfast was better than expected with freshly cooked food in addition to the "usual" contintental breakfast. The location of the hotel was perfect for us.

Family Room was equipped with Airconditioning which was great as it was +30 degrees. Bathroom was modern. The main bed was very nice, the children also slept good on the additional beds.

Reserved a garage and provided the details of the car. 4m70 would fit in the garage, upon arrival this was not the case and we parked on a reserved parking spot. As this was in between stop with luggage in the car this was not ideal. however the car was parked and nothing happend. The bathroom needs additional cabin to place make-up, etc. Now you have to put everything on the floor. The rinsing glass in the bathroom was used and not cleaned. lucky the two drinking glasses were clean. A reservation with 4 people and you get 1 50cl bottle of water and 2 glasses. You can go out to the city but as a welcome this is nice. One thing I do not like anywhere, is the reporting of being short staffed. You always do your best and for me both reception and kitchen staff did there best.

I was in Bonn for a long stay of 12 nights, always challenging to find a good hotel. No regrets here, the hotel is fantastic and the team very ready to turn your stay the most pleasant as possible. My room at the third floor was very quite and perfect even to spend a full day working as it happened several time. The Hotel is very close to a metro/tram stop and walking distance to the center or the river for a walk. I got sick the second week and the team was very attentive and careful: very appreciated! For a European hotel the shower size is WONDERFUL! Excellent breakfast buffet. Very friendly and professional staff. Convenient location near the central part of Bonn.

Some stairs and no lift, but only a problem for people with mobility issues. The staff were very helpful with getting our heavy suitcases to the room.

Very good breakfast. Close to the city center. Lot of space in the shower box.

Small drawback: reception open a few hours per day. If you arrive late you need to contact them and they give you a code to get the keys. Everything worked in the end.

Hotel Bonn City is located near the railwaystation and just next to the Old City, not far from the Kennedy Bridge across the Rhine. There is a beautiful park nearby and a bus/tram stop that connects you to any part of Bonn. The breakfast was excellent and the staff very nice and forthcoming. Frau Fassbender was especially kind to us!

A tea kettle would be a good addition to the coffee machine in the room. Otherwise everything was almost perfect.

The hotel was walking distance to the transport system, shopping areas and restaurant and churches. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the rooms were clean. Very quiet and peaceful hotel

The downside to the hotel was that the free WIFI was awful. One could only get reasonable connection in the breakfast area and even that was not powerful enough for zoom meetings

The parking was really easy and the staff was friendly and gave us a great tipp to buy souvenirs, is not so easy to find them in Bonn. The breakfast was good, but they charge 4euros to make an omelet! I though that is kind of ridiculous.

So again, the charge of 4euros for an omelet at the breakfast, beyond ridiculous. The air conditioning did not work. Stairs!

Communication with the staff quite difficult (maybe english its not their straight point), courtesy could be improved for the reception.
