Everything. We were really impressed overall. Beautiful and very peaceful location surrounded by parkland and gardens. Spotless clean hotel and room. Rooms available on ground floor too. Room had a lovely feel overlooking the rose garden. It was very clean, spotless, and I have high standards! Modern decor throughout. Lovely large bathroom and bath with shower. Plenty of free parking next to the hotel too. All the staff were friendly and helpful too.

The room didn’t have any small fridge to keep drinks and snacks cool.

We arrived around 23.00 in the night but the personal was nice, had a big smile and welcoming to me. The 3 girls was very happy with the rooms and was surprised to how the rooms were. The rooms was nice and the bathrooms were clean soft towels and the beds were clean and comfy 🥰 The breakfast was in a sweet house in the garden and we enjoy a lovely breakfast with ☕️🥛🫒🥖🍠🍳🧁 This was over our expectations . All for the amount that we paid for the night! Ands the personal was smiling and saying Good morning.

Lovely spacious rooms and beds were comfortable. Looked like all recently decorated. Staff were really helpful. Breakfast buffet nice too. Parking is right by the hotel and perfectly safe. I was pleasantly surprised, much nicer than I was expecting. The town is easy to walk to, plenty of cafes and places to eat. We stayed to watch the football in Dortmund as a bit cheaper. I would recommend.

We liked the whole building, the reception and breakfast staff and the surrounding parkland. The room and bathroom were very clean. the beds comfortable. It was also fairly quiet. Breakfast was great.

Had some concern at the parking. Big car park in quiet spot close to town and away from reception observation with a lot of throughput from locals enjoying the park and allotments. However we did not experience any problems.

Breakfast, room, location.

Car parking can be worrying as the hot4l spaces can get used up quickly after which it is the adjoining public car park. Castrop needs a few more restaurants.

Amazing location - quite and peaceful place with an old house and park nearby, cozy rooms with peaceful views, nice breakfast.

The room would benefit from some air ventilation.

Breakfast could have been better on the weekend not enough help and the food was long time out and not as fresh or filled.

Great location, easy to get to from the highway, only a short walk into town and also surrounded by greenery. We stayed Fri-Sat, in rooms facing the courtyard and it was very quiet and comfortable.

The only think I missed were USB ports in the rooms.
