Good location, very friendly staff, exceptionally clean, and good value for money. The beds were great, and the WiFi problem everyone mentions here seems to be resolved - It’s quite fast (screenshot from within my room - I was on the first floor), although it disconnected on me two times (in two nights total). You should go here, it’s great value.

Nothing really, if I’m nitpicking maybe I’d love this hotel to have blackout curtains, and to be a bit less noisy (the cleaners and other guests). It isn’t going to be a problem for everyone, maybe just light sleepers like me. I solved this with wearing a sleep mask over my eyes, and silicone buds in my ears. I had good sleep!

To my surprise, the breakfast was especially good; there was a great variety of food and drinks and lovely arrangement, I did not miss anything and can highly recommend!

In contrast to the rest of the breakfast, the coffee did not meet my expectations, even for a 'automat coffee'. (In the summer, I imagine, you cannot sleep with an open window if your room faces the street as it is a bit noisy; not applicable to my stay, though).

The place is very near to the center of the city, only 4 bus stations which cost only around 1 euro, or just 15 minutes walking, but the most important are the staff, especially the lady on the reception which is especially polite and helpful and will do anything to provide help, also I would like to mention especially clean premises.

Everything was perfect

I was really surprised with the Hotel, it was at the lower end of the price market for Düsseldorf, and it was a really positive experience. I would recommend the Hotel to anyone who is visiting for business or just shopping. The Breakfast was great, lots to choose from. The Rooms were clean and tidy, and also quiet.

Not much to dislike here. as I covered all the positives above, I didn't experience a negative.

The staff was very nice and understanding of our situation, we accidentally took the remote of the Air conditioning, but they were very cooperative and allow us to send them the remote. Rooms were clean and the location great. Great prices and good connections with public transport. Great Hotel overall.

Interior was a bit old-fashioned, but that is a question of taste not quality

The location of the hotel is just a short walk to the nearest tram line that takes you within minutes to the centre of the city. On our last day we had to leave at 4am for the airport which meant we were too early for breakfast. The evening before the restaurant staff organised an amazing packed breakfast that we were able to take with us.

Nothing at all

Clean, large room, friendly staff with 24/7 reception, feels safe for solo travellers. Kettle was missing but was immediately given when asked! Very happy with the service

Neighbourhood isn't the very nicest, but feels safe enough, I walked around alone in the evening and had no issues as a solo female traveller.

I stayed at Hotel Rubin over the past few days and it was a great experience. The hotel owners/managers were very kind and the same applies to the rest of their staff. They even offered a coffee and an umbrella when the rain started. My room was quiet and had plenty of space and a good view. Although the hotel is located on the main road, it felt pretty peaceful when I was in my room. Location: only a 20-minute walk from Konnigsalle and the riverside. So great walk after a drink or after having food. Would go back!

The location is great, there are restaurant, stores, public transportation nearby. The Hauptbahnhof is a couple of tramstops away. (And the airport is an 8-minute train ride from the Hauptbahnhof). The room is clean and comfortable. The receptionists are nice. Great value for the price.

We only stayed a night, but there is nothing to dislike about the hotel.
