During our stay, the staff provided exceptional assistance to accommodate our needs. The hotel's prime location is a significant advantage, as it is conveniently situated near the bustling downtown shopping district. Additionally, the main Dusseldorf station is within an acceptable walking distance of approximately 20 minutes.

While the shower area was smaller than anticipated, it did not significantly impact our business trip experience.

The staff are very friendly and professional. Mrs. Belma Zotsmann and the rest went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. As a small hotel you don't find anything missing. The breakfast was great with eggs freshly made for you and also items added for us as muslims, and fresh fruit salad for made on the day. It's very close to the centre of Dusseldorf with shops and resturants in close proximity

the bathroom and toilet were a little small for large people like myself

A simple hotel with good value-for-money, friendly staff and a central location. (Also it had cool retro vibes that were not really retro but apparently well-kept authenticity from what looked like the 1970s/80s.)

The pillow was humongous and super high, so I couldn't sleep with my head on it without breaking my neck at a steep angle, but when I moved all the way to the end of the pillow, the bed was (of course) too short for me. One quarter the volume of that pillow would have been more than sufficient - or actually better.

The most thing I loved about the hotel is the location; it's located near to the main streets where most of the attractions are, I didn't need to use any mean of transportation except to get to the nordpark which is quiet far. The staff were friendly and helpful. I will never forget the lady who offered us coffee upon our departure and gave us chocolate to have on the way home. The area was calm and quiet. And the WiFi works just fine.

All was good

Very well-kept, comfy, and cosy hotel with everything you need & very friendly staff, mid-way between the train-station and the old centre, in a good neighbourhood. The walk to the old centre is around 25 mins, through a bustling modern area which is also interesting to see. A part of that route got a bit deserted after dark, but that felt fine.

If the hotel is not very busy, the staff may not be present for check out until 12pm, so it's important to arrange that and leaving bags behind and picking them up after check-out beforehand. We were able to arrange this by chance, so I'd advise to agree on such timing on your arrival.

The family room is a very spacious and clean, 2 bedroom room on the ground floor, across a nice, small courtyard, in the back of the hotel (away from street noise). It was 30+ degrees outside but the room was quite cool, and they gave us a fan as well which really helped. Great location.

The shower was horrible as it was impossible to find the right temperature. And when you use the sink, the water spills all over the floor. And it would have been great to have a mini fridge.

Very friendly staff, good location (not far from Altstadt or the S-bahn to/from the airport), minibar in the room where you can keep a cold beer;), good value for money

The room a bit noisy from the street traffic, at least ours, which was facing the main street (Herzogstrasse) but nothing that can't be handled with earplugs. But, overall, the hotel in quiet. Can't complain about wall insulation or the other guests.

The staff, Berma and Linda were very easy to communicate with before our stay. They were very sweet and helpful when we arrived and through our stay. Our room was in a little courtyard in the back, which was perfect for our family. It was very clean and cleaned daily. Berma brought our children some sweet stollen cakes before we left. They were very thoughtful.

The facilities are very basic and comfortable-don't expect luxury. There are a couple of skylights in the room, which were fine for us as during this darker season, but may be a little harder to sleep with when the days are longer in the summer. There is no baby bed or travel cot available. We made this work by pushing the twin beds against a wall so our 2 year old didn't roll out.

Centrally located, clean and reasonably-priced, overall good value for money. Personnel were helpful and nice, thank you.

Street below was quite noisy at night, have to sleep with closed windows. Some wear and tear of furniture. Bathroom was tiny.

Everything was nice, mrs belma was really kind and helpful. We stayed there again when we are back to dusseldorf.

Maybe a mini refrigerator can be added to room for drinks.
