Great location, only short and pleasant walk to the centre, which could be taken via the river. Great view from our balcony. The breakfast was probably the best I've ever had in a hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Very little to dislike, the ensuite was perhaps a little bijou, but that wasn't a good issue. Not a cheap option but for that area not too bad.

The hotel was utterly charming, as were the team. Spotlessly clean, friendly, and delicious breakfast daily with lots of nice homemade touches like jam, cakes. The location was a short walk from Fussen but actually more beautiful and just across from swimming lakes, tennis courts, walks, I'm glad we weren't in town! Daily housekeeping was efficent and consistent, we really loved our stay and would highly recommend!

We upgraded for a balcony and view, and I'm so happy we did!! Great view, location, and the breakfast was wonderful. The woman who checked us in was super friendly and gave us a lot of useful information. It is in a nice quiet location, but a really easy to walk into town or just enjoy all the hiking trails. Was a great stay overall!

Cigarette smoke from people next to or under us kept drifting into the room, but I realize that's no fault of the hotel.

The staff is really nice and helpful. Breakfast was yum. The hotel has a wonderful view, close to the city, to good restaurants and to a beautiful waterfall. It gives you discounts to a few restaurants and to the castles' tickets.

There could be a bigger freezer (I need it to my insulin).

Beautiful area, view of the Alps. Great breakfast with a wide choice of foods: from cold cereals, fresh fruit, eggs (boiled and scrambled), bacon, fresh baked cakes, rolls, variety of sausages and cheese. You won't go away hungry! No amenities open. Asked about massage; but received no answer.

Staff very formal, spoke with a dialect hard to understand. I am allergic to feather beds and asked for a hypoallergenic blanket/pillow. They looked confused, nodded, wrote down my room number and I never got a thing! I ended up using blankets that were for use with balcony chairs. Very nerve wracking driving up to hotel (or back into town), as there was a narrow, rocky one-lane passage you had to navigate - no mirrors to see oncoming traffic, pedestrians or the many bikers- but all turned out well, as far as the car, lol. No place in shower to place your shampoo or soaps, had to use the floor.

Breakfast was the best out of all 4 places we stayed! Balcony overlooking a park, quiet, peaceful.

Room was for 3, the extra bed was not made up & only towels & glasses for 2. They took care of it immediately when I asked. Location is a bit of a challenge, you have to drive through a rock & twice I had to back up all the way to let a beer truck pass. Not fun!

Great hotel in a park-like location of Fussen. Wonderful areas to walk and stroll with lakes and mountain views. Great breakfast, although the coffee could have been a bit stronger. Easy walking distance to Fussen town area. Helpful and friendly staff.

the location was in a lovely quiet neighbourhood. Free parking and splendid breakfast with designated table for each room which was a nice touch! The staff is excellent and super friendly and polite! There is a beer vending machine in the main living room/ resting area, how cool is that!

The road going in and then going out from the small neighbourhood is restricted by being very narrow. But that should not spoil your dinner :)

Very helpful staff. Great beds.

The fact that there was no evening meal and we were unaware of this until we arrived. After a long journey, the last thing I wanted to do with a disabled wife was to get in the car again and go out to eat. Having stayed numerous times before, we will not be staying again until evening meals are served.

Super tranquil and beautiful place (stayed in January 2023). Fussen old town is just 15 minutes walking, Lech waterfall just few minutes away. Many trails and hiking routes available. Neuschwanstein castle is at around 1.5h walking. Hotel is very cosy and homelike.
