Friendly staff at reception on arrival and throughout stay. Spacious brightly decorated room with a balcony. Very good shelf, drawer and hanging storage space with a good number of hangers. Excellent pillows. Spacious bathroom with plenty storage space and an easy to access shower with easy controls and reasonable pressure. Very good buffet breakfast with choice of cereals, fruits, breads, cheeses and meats. Close to the river with an easy walking route to the town centre. Between 15 to 20 minutes walk to the train/bus station.

Everything in the room was good quality and worked well

Parking could have been an issue. The hotel is marketed as having free parking on site. In fact this is limited and if full the next free parking is 400 meters away. We were advised this after booking and paying. Also after booking and paying we were advised that check in closed at 19:00 hrs. Travelling by road from Rotterdam, this put us under considerable pressure in the event of traffic delays. As it happens we were lucky, but could have lost our booking and had to find another hotel. Not good enough really and poor practice bordering on deception to advise this after booking rather than before

The property is of a simple yet beautiful elegance, and location are fabulous. The two ladies we interacted with, did everything to make us feel welcome and were at our disposal with any kind of information or request. Continental breakfast, ok to start a new day. (For numberless types of salami, check all inclusive in Turkey) Perfect cleanliness, chromatic harmony and complete silence. A PERFECT location for someone alone or a couple looking for peace and the simplicity of nature. A purely personal opinion: I don't think it's the right location for noisy families or with many children.

Beautiful location within an easy 10 minute walk to Fussen town centre along side the river. Spacious room with very large bed. Good selection at breakfast. We were in the overspill room for breakfast so had to walk through to another room for the buffet which was not a problem. We have stayed in this area before but hadn’t realised we were within walking distance to a fantastic waterfall. We visited it before we left the area in the morning. The lady on reception told us about it.

A fridge in the room and tea and coffee facilities would have been very welcome. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable, very firm. Everyone seemed to turn up to breakfast at the same time. Could have done with food being more spaced out as you found yourself being in the way of others.

The rooms seemed newly renovated, the staff was very friendly, the hotel was spotless and the location was fantastic. Less then 10 minute walk along the river to get to down town. Breakfast was also great and the spa area was brand new and very relaxing

The only negative was the 19:00 latest checkin. It put me under a bit of time stress with my departure but if you have time this place is fantastic

Wonderful, large room! Quiet, with a small balcony. Wonderful to wake up to peaceful surroundings. I liked the attached chapel as well. Great breakfast, too! Staff was very accommodating, as I wanted to drop off my bag early in the morning to go on a hike, and the nice gentleman at the desk even found an already prepared room for me for early check-in at 10am! Went out of his way. Thank you!

Such a lovely hotel. The room was sparkling clean, large with a nice balcony. Breakfast was plentiful with a good choice of food. The staff were very friendly. Location perfect for visiting this beautiful area. Walking distance to the old town center. You won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful hotel, so close to historic Fussen and really easy to get to castles. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and breakfast was excellent!

I found the bed a little to firm and a lighter weight blanket would have been nice given the warmth when we were there, but really no complaints

Good location nice short walk to the town and short walk to the waterfall, clean and quiet hotel, enjoyed the sauna, you just need to let them know

bed was creaking every time I turned in bed, so by night three it became quite annoying, unfortunatelly we did not tell hotel staff about it at the time

Very tasty breakfast and access to coffee, tea at any time of the day or night. Large, clean and bright rooms with a large balcony. Very nice and friendly staff. Availability of parking for the car.
