The hotel occupies a historical building with a very special flair. The wellness area is decent. Having a private brewery onsite is certainly a plus, the beer was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful, although most of them wouldn’t speak English. On the other hand, that’s definitely far from a 4-star hotel standard, so don’t expect much from the place

The room looked outdated and wasn’t properly cleaned. The hygiene was questionable. The air was stuffy. The breakfast didn’t meet our expectations as there was clearly not enough food/drinks for the amount of people hosted over the weekend, and the personnel didn’t bother fulfilling the stands with more stuff

Very good breakfast. Nice garden with restaurant. Large room. Friendly staff. Parking in front of the hotel. We arrived with motorcycles and could park in front of the entrace. There is pool and spa facilities, we didn’t use it but it looked nice.

The pool area was excellent after receiving a time slot with reception. There never was a problem getting some time in the pool. The pool is quite deep so small children need adult supervision. The staff were very good and we received favourable responses to any of our requests. Our room was a good size for 2 adults and toddler and the bathroom was large with amenities included. A fridge and safe was also included for personal use. We had a massage at the spa and were very pleased with the service.

Due to Covid, the restaurant was closed. The ample breakfast was served in the adjoining Beer House. However, our dinner experience was very poor due to the quality of the food. We ordered delivery service from a local restaurant for our second evening.

Nice location, beautiful gardens, fantastic staff, lovely pool area, big and comfy rooms, very pretty beer garden. Oasis of calm after a long day of travel on a business trip.

Dinner buffet wasn’t haute cuisine, but for 15 euros it filled me up and wasn’t unpleasant at all. Washed it down with a couple of beers from their own brewery.
