Central Hotel bel étage

The apartment is quite big, clean, there are two beds in opposite parts of the bedroom, quite high to climb for a short person, but comfortable. The owner was very accomodatind, prepared free breakfast every morning with croissant, butter, jam and milk, there are oranges to squiz and coffee machine in the hallway. The are shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom, a magnifing mirror. Wifi was good, big tv in the room.

The minibar wasn't cooling at all and I would replace the bathtub with a walk in shower.

Nicely situated not too far though far enough from the Hbf Hamburg. Very old and well maintained building. The room was very nice and efficient, including a shower and a bath. The surprise was daily fresh oranges which you can squeeze in the room, nice coffee machine with fresh coffee (not the awful capsules) and in the morning a plate with great croissant and jam. Enough for people like us who are not early eaters. The restaurant that belongs to the establishment down the street is actually very good.

From the first moment to departure we had the most incredible comfortable welcoming stay - and the owner is an Angel. He has the sweetest and kindest energy making your stay a dream! Fresh oranges to make your juice, great coffee and perfect croissant and jam with milk to wake up in such a nice way. The lighting and mood is gorgeous and the restaurant downstairs extraordinary. The bed is so soft - we melted into it and had the best sleep ever despite coming back at 4am! I’ve never been so impressed and greatly surprised like here. This is the only place to stay in Hamburg.

Absolute perfection!

The host was warm and welcoming. The orange juicer in the room was a bonus and so different and "old fashioned". I loved it. We also loved the tray with croissants and fresh oranges in the morning. It makes this place very cozy with a personal touch. If you run out of oranges, there are more everywhere within the the hotel. We were grateful. Very central area. You can get anything you want in Lange Reihe (street name).

Parking.

Fresh oranges in the room. You can make orange juice on your own. Coffee and tea is on the house. In the morning Mr Arno make fresh baked delicious croissant with marmalade. all windows are sound proof. No noise from outside. Bed is comfortable. Location is very central and you can travel around by walking to see historical places and relaxing views bridge is a good place to see

Shower is too small

Very nice room with a personal and cool decoration. We had our own private terrace and a bathtub - what's not to like :-) In the morning a tray was placed outside our room - we didn't expect that and was in a hurry to catch our morning train, but wow, what a service! - so we grabed some croissants on the go! It was located very close to Hamburg Hbf - but away from street noice and the station. Perfect! We will definitely come back :-)

The host was very accommodating and friendly. I received room 5, lovely room with amazing terrace and comfortable bed. I enjoyed Netflix and foreign language programs; there was a convenient coffee maker and orange juice presser. Morning croissants were delicious! The bathroom had a shower and bathtub. The location was perfect, 6 minutes walk to the train station and near the heart of the city. I would definitely come here again.

We were greeted warmly by a wonderful host. The room was excellent with modern touches in an 18th Century building. There was a coffee maker, kettle and oranges to use in a press for fresh orange juice. There were numerous restaurants, shops and sights within walking distance. We were treated with extra ordinary hospitality by the host and would rate this as one of the best places we have ever stayed in our many travels.

Wonderful location for exploring the city . just few minutes walk from the main station and city centre. Immediate local area was full of interesting shops bars restaurants ,close also to the lake. Hotel was wonderfully decorated and full of quirky arty stuff. Room was comfortable and surprisingly quiet. Breakfast on a tray in the room was a treat.. staff very helpful and friendly.

Shower cubicle was very small and with a high step up. Water temperature fluctuated. I guess because the building is so old.

It is comfortable and beautiful, full of details and simple at the same time. The location is perfect and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. I felt like home, I don’t need to look for hotels in Hamburg anymore, this is exactly what I dream of, when I am out because of work. Thanks!!

It felt a bit cold in my room in during the night, but I actually didn’t mention it to the staff which would have been helpful for sure. So all more than good!
