Close to the central station, could walk to many places, near reasonable restaurants, welcome drink, bath sink, coffee service in room, refrigerator, and VERY good breakfast, more than expected. I felt their effort to host their guests well with good food. This hotel is old fashion, and the building is old, but it has good old days facility such as bath tab, coffee maker, and refrigerator. I appreciate them.

Very bad, almost none WIFI connection. I do not recommend if you plan to work online in this hotel.

This is a perfect hotel - everything is done correctly. Its architecture and design remind of old times and it is meticulously kept. Of course, it's quite pricey for what it offers, but in short, it's perfect. We loved their breakfast!

It is in proximity of the train station - which was ideal. However, if you want to go out, there are a lot of strange people on the street and you might feel a bit uncomfortable. German social status is in decline.

Arrived later in the night - easy to find, staff was great and the room was clean. Central location, close to the train station. Had the window open at night and slept well - relatively quiet for a downtown location.

As this was a last-minute booking, the only room available was a smoking room. Not used to this anymore as many places no longer allow smoking indoors, and the smell was strong. Not at all a complaint, just a remark, as I was simply happy to have found a room for the night and was made aware of this when booking.

Good location on walking distance from the central station. We only needed a hotel for one night with good value for the money, and this hotel delivered exactly that. We arrived late and checked out early, so unfortunately we couldn't take advantage of the complimentary welcome drink.

Excellent breakfast selection. Great location for access to the main station and a good selection of local restaurants.

No air conditioning. The room was very warm and with the window open it was noisy, especially when the bin men arrived at 6:15 in the morning! The hotel entrance could be a bit smarter.

Very friendly and helpful staff who made us feel welcome. The room was quiet even though the area around the hotel is very busy. It is very useful for public transport which we used a lot. Breakfast was very good too.

The wifi was in and out so it was difficult to access my emails but my 11 year old granddaughter still managed to text and message all of her friends for hours every day. Some homeless people based themselves outside the hotel and asked for money every time we went in or out but that is not the fault of the hotel staff.

The staff especially Helene Alpse at reception she was always welcoming and smiling. The Breakfast was excellent and the location was was perfect we were near the station the shops and excellent restaurants we will definitely go back again .

Baths slippery mats should be provided or even walk in showers

great location,just few minutes by walk from the main train station, superb staff and communication before arrival and while arriving (late night), the room was big,very clean and equipped with many usefull things, also big balcony...we were very satisfied and will be back in the future Highly recommended! Thank you very much for your hospitality.

the location is excellent, 3 minutes walk from the train station….. incredibly clean everywhere, lovely happy and friendly staff, very good size rooms, and a very good selection for breakfast we had a fantastic weekend here, and would definitely come back!

it would have been good to have breakfast included in the room rate, at €15 pp per day it made it quite expensive the decor is very dated, but I wouldn’t mark it down for being very 90’s - but if you’re looking for a modern contemporary hotel, this is not it!!
