It was quiet, staff were super friendly, the room and amenities were all clean and modern, comfortable bed, bar fridge at reception meant you could grab a drink whenever! Great place to stay if you’re into sight seeing and hiking around the lakes. Parking around the property was easy but you’ll likely be on the street if you aren’t home by 3pm! The breakfast was amazing! Definitely the highlight of our stay.

We were in the attic on the 3rd floor (seems to be a new addition?) and when it rained the skylight needed to be closed. Which resulted in the room getting very hot! I wish we had a small bar fridge to store drinks, snacks etc because it was so warm in the room. Could also hear the lady next door coughing so I don’t think the walls are very thick!

The warm and welcoming owners. Good place to store / park the bicycle over night. Large assortment of beer and soda at the reception to buy around the clock - good service. Excellent breakfast!

A bit warm in the room at night, but I found out in the morning that I could have opened the door to the balcony - my fault.

The breakfast is very very nice, it's the best breakfast I've ever had in a hotel. The room is clean with a great view at the balcony. The people are very helpful.

The staff was really nice and careful. The location of the Hotel is perfect for walks or hike near the lake (and its surroundings are very beautiful). My room and the hotel in total were very clean and peaceful. On top of that, the breakfast was very good. I highly recommend this Hotel.

She is extremely smart and takes care of her all quests as family member. Her management skills and personality brightens your day. So proud to meet her.

The hotel is placed very close to the lake. The location is peaceful and quiet. Good and varied breakfast. TV modern. Complimentary water upon arrival. Mrs Sissi very friendly and helpful.

Delicious Breakfast with veggies and other healthy options!

The breakfast in this hotel is the best free breakfast I have had in many many stays in Germany. I also liked that the hotel had an elevator (lift) so the luggage didn't need to be carted up by hand. The room was quiet, the view with the snow in the mountains very nice!

The lockbox on the outside of the hotel to pick up your keys after hours is finicky. The knob has to be turned to just the right angle before entering the code otherwise it won't work. There is no functioning number to call if you can't get it to work. You can leave a message, but in my experience, the messages are only answered a day or so later. Using a lock box is fine, but please make sure it works easily in the cold and when the traveler is tired. I stayed in some hotels in France that had lockboxes, and they all worked smoothly. Fix the lockbox to something better, and I would recommend this place in Kochel am See.
