Charming, traditional Bavarian hotel with fantastic views of the mountains, including the Zugspitze. We are an English family with three kids aged 9-12 and there is loads for families to do in the local area, if you like being active. The off-road bike trails are wonderful with kids and there are lots of swimming and walking opportunities. There are hiking trails directly from the hotel. Highly recommended.

Our kids’ ground floor room was rather dark and had no view. I recommend asking for a room on an upper floor with a balcony.

The hotel is set in the most beautiful location. The room was extremely spacious with fantastic views. The bed was comfortable with nice bed linen. We had a bathroom and separate toilet. Breakfast was amazing, the choice of food was vast, beautifully presented, there really was something for everyone. All the staff we encountered were friendly, polite and welcoming. There is a restaurant for evening meals which was outstanding and highly recommended. Would recommend this hotel if you’re in the area.

There was nothing not to like.

If you need to escape Munich, that is the way to go. Right next to the mountains in a small quiet village. The best place to relax in nature. The hotel has a great location and not too far from the train station. If you can, try the restaurant!!

Everything. The view from balcony and restaurant was amazing. The room was nice and clean with all required facilities. The staff was too friendly and kind.

Fabulous breakfast, lovely rooms albeit a bit old fashioned but charming; friendly welcome, lovely view of surrounding mountains, quite close to the main road but far enough away to be really peaceful

The breakfast is super good! The location is the best in town as in the morning you can view the zugspitze directly from the breakfast area.

it provided a strange shape room with 2 beds with T layout... But none are very big. Not so sound proof when the door closed.

The size of the room, the location and the staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was great with awesome scenery.
