Very good location on the river, spacious rooms with comfortable beds, new shower with temperature regulation, nice swimming pool, breakfast is excellent. Staff at the reception was kind. Garage is right under the hotel, and has a lot of space.

There was no kettle/ coffee making facilities in the room. For the price paid, I would have expected it. There were some issues with the coffee machine in the breakfast room, for four days one was not usable, the other was getting stuck every time. There is no garden area to sit outside, except from a little narrow balcony, only accessible if using the restaurant or bar.

We really loved the small touches for the kids - gummy bears in the room, and a welcome pack with a penguin washcloth and kids shower gel. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The location was ideal, by the beautiful waterfront and right near the main streets. We would love to return one day!

The only thing was that the coffee machine in our room was not refilled - e.g., there were no coffee mugs, milk, or caffeinated pods (only decaf). I think this was a small oversight by the cleaning staff, but no big deal as we could easily get more supplies from the front desk!

The staffs were very all very friendly and helpful. Especially the ones at the reception. Breakfast was excellent, lots of options and very well prepared with lots of sitting. We had to sit om the terrace as no dogs are allowed inside the restaurant. It worked for us since weather was warm enough and we had great view of the Rhein. Location was central and we are in the old town in less than 5 mins. I would recommend this hotel if you travel with family or dog.

Not really. Only a pity that dogs are not allowed inside the restaurants, otherwise would try the dinner there.

The location is really nice and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The person at the reception at checkout was especially cheerful and it made the entire checking out very pleasant. Everyone in the staff we interacted with spoke English.

The rooms are supposed to be air conditioned but it's not as good as you would expect (especially for a warm weekend). The room was still warm despite the air conditioning.

Beautiful location and I had a room overlooking the Rhine. The pillows were like fluffy little clouds - so comfy! The flowers and chocolates in the room was a lovely touch. Huge breakfast choice and very good quality. Reception staff very welcoming

I liked it all. A tiny criticism- the weekend breakfast staff seemed very slow to clear the tables and it was very busy. It would be nice to be guided to a table instead of having to find one covered in dirty crockery.

Piano wasn’t being played during the evenings and bar didn’t open till 21.30 on the evening we would have appreciated it although we were offered a table in the dining room, it wasn’t the same. Definitely avoid the breakfast rush hour if you can!

The hotel is in an excellent location to all the popular tourist areas. The triple room was the largest and best appointed room we have had on our 3 week vacation. It had a "real" third bed, where as the other hotels we utilized just added a cot. It also had plenty of soft seating(3 arm chairs and a sofa )

Had to pay for the underground parking and breakfast was not included in the booking cost.

Amazing view and sidewalks next to the river. Ideal proximity to many restaurants, tram to Drachenfels ruins and castle. Convenient ferry stop few meters away crossing the Rhine to take you (including vehicles) to the other side. Covered parking right below the hotel with discount for clients. Extended breakfast time, very good quality and variety. Friendly and polite staff. Good and swift room service but rather few options on the menu.

Windows were not cleaned since (at least) previous room guests. Amenities were poor (just shampoo, shower gel and shoe polish). There was a weird water shower system with buttons, hopefully eco-saving too, because it is impossible to control the flow. Breakfast room was very crowded during peak times, especially on holidays. The buffet at the centre of the room creates probably more hassle.

Very much a chain hotel vibe, a bit characterless. Inside, the decor could be anywhere. We found the beds a bit hard for our liking and the room a bit too warm, despite the ventilation being on the coolest setting. You couldn’t sleep with the windows open due to the noise of the SBahn and riverboats

Very comfortable quiet room with good view of river. Fridge and safe in room. Secure parking. Several options for long walks / hikes straight from hotel. Several places to eat or drink close by.

A dining option other than a buffet or very limited room service would have been helpful especially on Sunday.
