Hotel is a 10 minute downhill walk from the bus station at Constance Dobeleplatz and 2 minutes from the train station. My room was ready early and the lady at reception gave me a little tourist card for free buses which I used for a day trip to Mainau island. The room was small but clean, comfortable and quiet. A nice breakfast is included. The key to the room also opens the main door if you come back late. Lots of places to eat and shop nearby and the waterfront is 3 minute walk away. The staff were helpful and cheerful.

There is no lift but the staff cheerfully helped me with my bag. The free wifi has no password and is slow.

Good people working in this hotel. Very friendly. Great location in the very centre of Konstanz. My room very clean and comfortable.

The hotel is in the old building, therefore you will hear every noise from the street and from the stairs. Air conditioner had a temperature range starting from 21°C, which is quite high for me and not comfortable to sleep. This air conditioner made some continuous noise every 60-90 seconds. Lastly, the shower has a very plain sink, therefore each time after you take a shower, the floor will be also wet.

The location is absolutely amazing. Close to the train station, shopping centre, lake and old town. Everything just a short walk away. Staff were very friendly and breakfast was good (standard hotel offerings, the bircher muesli was especially tasty). Room was immaculately clean and matched the pictures exactly. It was excellent value for money and the restaurant in the same building was great (did get busy though so booking may be a good idea).

There is no elevator, which is expected in an older building but something to be aware of for less mobile guests. The inclusion of a small fridge would make the room perfect or at least to be able to have an ice bucket (I asked and they couldn't provide it). These are really tiny details though so they're not a big deal.

Location very good, near to the Bahnhof and shopping & eating & culture area of Konstanz. I could feel that they run this hotel carefully. Breakfast was also good enough. Satisfied.

1. It might have been better, if Booking.com told me clearly that the tour tax is not included in the total sum on the confirmation. (It was bit unusual for me as frequent traveler with booking.com.) 2. The dimension of the shower cabin was 70cm×80cm. I mean the wall size, not the tub. If I was a bit more bulky man, I could have some discomfort in there. 3. I stayed on the 4th floor (3. OG). I missed a lift, when I got tired.

We had an amazing stay at the Hotel. The gentleman at the reception is very friendly, other staffs too. We had enough space to park our 5 bicycles. The location is great as the hotel is located within walking distance from train station, pubs, restaurants and everything. Best thing is there is a vending machine for beer in case you need it in the night time.

The hotel is very well located if you're arriving at the station which is about 5 minutes walk away. The room which was a single was more than adequate size with a very comfortable bed and the usual facilities in the bathroom. The whole hotel was extremely clean and looked very well cared for. The breakfast was excellent with an extensive choice at the buffet.

There was nothing I didn't like. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would come here again when next in Konstanz.

Great Central location in the old town. Convenient for buses trains and ferries. Close to restaurants and shops. Staff very helpful and coped well with our minimal German.

Noise at the front of the hotel. Particularly at the moment with work being done on an adjacent building. Woken up at 7am with the building work. No lift to upper floors which is perhaps inevitable in an old building.

The staff there was super friendly and very attentive to our needs. I plan on coming back here sometime soon with my wife and I will definitely be staying at this hotel again. Their breakfast was out of this world. All in all it's just a great hotel to stay in.

Loved everything about it. Breakfast was superb. Staff were lovely.

The only downside was the lack of a lift, but given the age of the building, hardly surprising. The lovely lady on reception was kind enough to help me lift my suitcase up two flights of stairs though.

Good location near the old town and the railway station. Good breakfast with attentive staff and good fresh coffee made to order. Small but very well laid out bathroom with a good waterfall shower head. Extra pillow provided as soon as requested.

Some noise from neighboring room TV but not excessive.
