We had a superior room that was very large and had loads of storage space. It overlooked a pedestrianised square that the hotel used as an outdoor cafe. We had windows on two sides. Bathroom was very large with bath, shower, two basins and a bidet. Plenty of towels. We had dinner which was good in a traditional dining room. Parking was available although about 500m away. You can drop off outside the hotel but the obvious place to stop is needed for fire brigade access!

Tricky getting to the hotel as it's surrounded by a pedestrianised area- clearer directions on the website would have been good (e.g. a map showing route to take by car). Can be a bit noisy if you want to sleep with windows open - early morning rubbish collection and deliveries.

Beautiful historic hotel with all the modern amenities. Looks newly redone in the room, super clean. Nice welcome bottle of water in the room. Loved the rooftop, the library, and all the things to look at in the hallways. Air conditioning and shower was top notch. Comfy beds, and the window blinds were a nice touch. Staff is extremely friendly. Check in and out very easy, and ours came with a sweet surprise. Location is great for walking Altstadt.

We could not get a reservation for parking at 12 Euro per night. The hotel suggested Alstadt garage but it was full. (It was a Saturday afternoon in July.). We ended up driving around and finding parking at the Lago Mall for 24 Euro, steep price for an overnight.

Superb breakfast with very friendly staff! They were the best! Loved the fact that the hotel is very dog friendly.

We had the standard room, it was dark and small. However, we requested a quiet room so it was the price to pay as our window faced a dark backyard. For a longer stay like hours (one week), for a couple I would recommend a bigger room.

Beautiful boutique hotel right in the old heart of Konstanz. Close to lots of restaurants and only a few blocks from the lake. The hotel is really well maintained and has such old-world charm! They were also very helpful with the parking, allowing us to unload in the pedestrian area before parking the car just 500m away.

Honestly everything was great but our room smelled a bit like sewage when we first arrived... Fortunately that smell disappeared after one of us took a shower, but it wasn't the nicest thing to walk into.

A very beautiful hotel. The room was very clean and very tidy. Breakfast was good and so was food at the restaurant. Great hotel location, in the city center. The hotel and restaurant staff are very nice and friendly. Special thanks to Stefan, who received us at the reception, a charming and very professional person, helped us a lot.

Parking within walking distance about 8 minutes from the hotel, but to unload and pick up luggage, you can park in front of the hotel for the required time.

Nicely authentic and very cosy. Good service too. Breakfast was great, not a huge spread, but quality fruit, croissants, some English breakfast and delicious quark.

The superior room we picked wasn´t really bigger, except the bathroom slightly. My in-laws had a "comfort room" and it was much brighter, with a window and a view.

Lovely old building set perfectly in the very pretty old town near the port for boat trips on the lake. The hotel has personality but has been modernised to match all contemporary expectations, including air con in our room. Very helpful and professional staff. Loved the roof top terraces and the excellent breakfast.

Lovely modern bathroom en suite to our room but very small and cramped.

This hotel is next to one of the buildings painted with murals. It is very nice and the location is on the main pedestrian walkway and within walking distance of lots of restaurants. I stayed an extra day and the rate I was charged was quite reasonable even though the hotel was showing as sold out on the Internet.

Very nice old hotel with a great atmosphere in the hart of town ! Reception very helpful, external car-park with hotel-pass for a very reasonable price.

The breakfast is abundant and very good, but my wife (who came-down approx. 1 hour after me, as she did not have to go to work...-:)), did not get the choice of bread (single brown-bread available) I had one hour earlier, and even after asking, it was not/could not be refilled...

- Great Location: directly in the city center, 7 min from the train station. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby - Good example of smart renovation: stylish rooms with modern bathroom but with old touch (cupboards, floor, etc) - Terrace on 3rd and 4th floor

- Corridors are a bit dark and old-fashioned but it’s a matter of taste - Fridge in the room would be great!
