Breakfast was hearty and well taken care of, along with a very mindful and courteous waiter(?) Beautiful location set on the edge of a lake, on a short distance from the Altstadt. All staff we encountered were very helpful, friendly and welcoming.

The bathrooms are very spacious, that's why it's a shame there's only a small shower cabin you can barely move around in A way to be checked in when you arrive late would be nice for people in risk of missing their check-in window.

The room allocated was on the top floor (which we could have done without !) but it was large and comfortable with lovely views of the River Wakenitz. Very clean and the Breakfast really nice in a lovely dining room overlooking the River.

The Host took some getting used to with his sense of humour but the service was professional. Car park a little limited but there was a space as advised - difficult to enter and exit though.

We had a lovely, big room with stunning views over the water and a small balcony. Staff were very helpful, they arranged for an early check-in, water kettle in the room and gave suggestions about Lübeck. Very quiet, picturesque location, yet close to the old town of Lübeck. We walked everywhere.

A small fridge would be good.

The staff were lovely. The breakfasts offered loads of variety and the bread was very good! A beautiful position of the hotel on the river with a balcony to take in the view over the trees and river was so special. Only a 15 mins walk to town centre or 5 mins bus ride. A really unique base from which to explore Lubeck. Very good value.

The staff was very helpful and kind. The location was great. The room was spacious with a balcony and clean. The bed was comfy.

The room didn't have a waterboiler or bottled water... Would be great to have a waterboiler at least. The hotel is rather old, but has its own unique atmosphere. Overall, was a good stay.

Free garage places for motorcycles. When asking about parking space outside the hotel the manager said "NO, the garage is better" :-) Very good breakfast with attentive and alert personnel in the kitchen. Small, quiet and very cosy hotel just by the waterside.

The location was exceptional, directly overlooking the Wakenitz river. 15 minutes on foot to Lübeck Altstadt, or 5 minutes by bus. Great breakfast!

The rooms are a bit outdated, but VERY clean. The bathroom grout was a little moldy around the shower.

Breakfast was excellent, the staff at breakfast was really friendly and nice.

The towels weren't changed (even though we left them on the floor), and we shared balcony with another room but no one notified us beforehand.

We had a lovely view from our room across the Wakenitz river. We could also enjoy the view of the Wakenitz from the nice breakfast room and outdoor patio. Additionally, the innkeeper and staffA great were friendly, helpful and spoke English.

Great matrass and pillow. Friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Really close to the old town. Best value for money.

It was raining so it was not possible to enjoy the balcony ☺️
