Inner courtyard is really a disused wasteland and not pretty to look over Lady on reception at 14:00 could have been more welcoming and also offered explanation as to why I could not checkin while 3 other couples could PLEASE MOVE RUBBISH BINS FROM BIKE STORE AREA. IT STINKS AND THEY ARE SWARMING WITH FLYS.

Good hotel in central Ludwigslust (which is not that big), and with walking distance to Schloss Ludwigslust. Nice bar, great staff, beautiful room, own restaurant, but we never used it. Not many other rest open in the evening, though, as Ludwigslust seems to be a place for day visiting. We found the restaurant Athena, where everyone else obviously goes. No wonder, amazingly good Greek food. Expect some waiting when busy. Cash only.
