We were on a touring holiday so had a lot of hotels in succession and this really highlighted differences between hotels. The room was large, clean, well equipped and very well presented. The room overlooked part of the old town but the room was quiet and we slept well. Everything felt a 'notch above' most of the rooms we used on this trip, though it was not the most expensive. Parking was in a nearby underground car park. We were ok with this, though some people might find carrying luggage from the car park a problem. But we really liked the hotel. We would definitely use this hotel again, without a shadow of a doubt!!

On site car park would have been nice, but they just don't have the space for it. The nearby underground car park was fine, though.

Hotel is very central and has the advantage of a carpark within 1min walk. Restaurants and shops are also within 3 min walk. Variety of food for breakfast ranging from continental to english breakfast including coffees (capuccino/espresso), variety of teas and variety of juices. All of which were very good and fresh. Room was very spacious and comfortable. There is central heating. Beds had fresh white bedsheets and pillow cases. Check in and out was fast. Hotel can hold your luggage before and after checking in/out. Staff knows the english language very well and had no difficulty in communicating. There is a sauna in the basement which is open 24hrs.

There was no safe box in the room. Bathroom is a bit outdated, however saw a notice saying that upgrades are currently underway. No English channels on the TV, which was a bit awkward considering that there were other non German nationals in the hotel. No Air-condition.

Location was excelent, in the center and close to the main train station. The reception works all night long so a very early checkout was possible. The ladies at the reception were extremely nice and forthcoming. The nice and clean sauna was a bonus treat.

The beds were not comfortable at all., to me It appears the bed was covered with some kind of protective sheet which caused overheating and condenzation. The breakfast on Saturday was very good and worth money. On Sunday at 9am- totally different story: less varieties of bread, less cheese, less salami. I had to ask for eggs too (got them) , but in an basket there were two squished croissants and when I asked for more (or better ones) I got nothing.

The hotel has a good location. It is close to the main sights to visit. The room is large, with twin beds. Unfortunately, I found only smoker rooms available, and I am a non-smoker. So the strong smell was uncomfortable even with the window open all the time. However, for a smoker it is an ideal place. There is a TV, yet all the channels are in German. I managed to find one in French, though. There isn't a fridge or AC, and it was hot even at night. The comfort box in the toilet contains a very harsh nail file, which is not usable; cotton swabs and cotton pads. There isn't any shampoo. The bed is rather tough, yet I loved the duvet, so comfortably pluffy and warm. There is a sauna, which is great. On the third day only did I get a robe and slippers for it, though. There is the possibility to choose not to have your room cleaned, and get a present for it. I was not informed about it, and I found out about it just before checking out. Even though I made the bed myself and took out the waste daily. So you can choose to go green. The wifi tends to be slow at times, yet usable.

The room was clean but the cleaning staff not really profesional. At 8:30 AM my door was opened without even knocking. On the day of the check out (which is at 11h), at 10:30 the cleaning lady was already knocking on my door, and after telling her I go out at 11, she stayed 30 min in front of the door talking loud with a her colleague…

Breakfast was really good with plenty of choices. Good coffee, fresh products, fruit and juice. Location is great, near central square and walking distance from the station. My room and the bathroom were big enough, well organised and clean. Staff was friendly and professional.

mattress was not comfortable, too soft, not proper support.

This is my second time staying in this hotel and it grown on me. Hotel is located just a street from the main city square, and it's on the walking distance from the train station. Receptionist was very old school professional which I liked. Room is quite simple and relatively old fashioned, but very clean and comfortable. I will definitely keep coming back every time I'm in Memmingen.

I travel several times up and down from Greece to Holland. Sometimes on my own sometimes with my two Labradors. This is a perfect place to stop very close to the city. Good parking close by and a lot of green as well close by for my dogs.

The rate per dog of 10 euro per night is 20 euro for two dogs. This is the highest extra amount asked for my two dogs.

Everything went well. Staff was very cordial and helpful and we have no problem to recommend the hotel or go back to Drexel's should we visit Memmingen again.

The surroundings are very quiet after 19:00hrs, but then again due to the cold, one does not expect people milling around with a temperature of -7 degrees !!!!

Excellent location very close to City Hall but also Cathedral and station, so basically close to everything. Good breakfast and nice staff, we enjoyed our very short stay here. Our room had 2 windows, was spacious and light. We recommend this hotel.

Nothing to complain. There were some working activities in the building but we were advised before about this.
