Comtinental breakfast was a fine choice, good quality, ample choices. Location is good - walking distance between Merzig and Mettlach for ramblers. Also a fine midway stop between the Channel and southern Germany. Staff are great - manageress Manu was a star in trying to arrange a local fix for a motorist with a chipped windscreeen - she took photos, contacted local Carglass, got us advice to continue journey as local Carglass could not replace front screen for 3 days.

Have stayed here many times on way to and from the German Alps,it’s very peaceful and has everything we need including an excellent breakfast.The owner is kind and friendly and her garden is beautiful. We are sorry we brought heavy rain with us in June and a fantastic thunderstorm on our return Seven weeks later.

-Very quiet location close to many hiking trails. Not too remote either -Swimming pool is heavenly -Very nice breakfast -Oasis of calm

-Small detail, but the coffee at breakfast was not the best -My parents' room had a mosquito net, ours did not. This may be applicable at this location though Other than these two mini details, this accommodation is highly recommended!

It was so peaceful, clean and staff were lovely. Didn’t speak amazing English but enough for what was needed. The pool and communal area was clean and well kept. Room was like new. No negatives to our stay at all.

Little out of the way but worth it

A Return visit in a super room,kindness of owner as we arrived in torrential rain and excellent breakfast. Looking forward to our next visit which is already booked !!

The weather !!

The hotel is situated on the edge of a quiet, residential area of the town. The garden is lovely to sit and relax in, and the breakfast is very nice too.

Bfast was excellent,we love the location,our room was spacious with room to eat comfortably as after a ver very long slow drive we were too tired to go out

The en-suite is a little cramped

The weather was good and the pool is a reasonable size. Plus there is good wifi reception next to the pool

The owner is very attentive to client's needs and proposes unexpected wonderfull solutions, always ready to help and accomodated us greatly, given we have a very small baby. The pool is great, just for few rooms of the property and the garden like heaven. It also has a sauna and fire place. Stars can be seen at night near the pool. The breakfast is very healthy and variated. Excellent host, we recommend her warmly and will came again as a couple and with our baby. Thank you😘😘😘

Evevything was perfect

A very pleasant setting with comfortable room and an excellent breakfast.An extra bonus was the swimming pool on a a very hot evening.It was a repeat visit and we hope to return in the future.
