NOVINA HOTEL Sudwestpark

Clean and well equiped hotel near highway. Basic but at the same time very good and satisfying stay. Staff was very friendly and taking excellent care of the guests. We loved the beds and had a very good rest. Breakfast has surprised us by lots of choices. Car is necessary to access this location but it wasn't an issue for us.

- Rooms and doors aren't sound proof. It wasn't an issue though because we had only families accomodated on our floor. We had a good rest during the night anyway. - Special coffee machine isn't obligatory at breakfast, but would be nice for the coffee lovers :)

Breakfast was excellent. Morning buffet with a wide variety to select from. The room was good size for a couple travel with our dog and clean. Pet friendly and there is a nice park right next to the hotel to let your dog out. The hotel does not provide coffee options in your room, but a coffee machine in reception with a wide range to select from which is free. I really liked this fresh/new approach the hotel provided as beats the in-room option by miles! Staff are friendly and helpful when we needed to move rooms.

It wasn't quite clear from the website (Booking.com) which rooms have fridges or not. We initially thought all rooms had a fridge, but when looking on the hotel page you can easily see the options.

An excellent place to stay for a business traveller. It is more convenient,if one travels by car. Hotel is complete in itself. A good restaurant , excellent spread of Breakfast,, ample Parking space & on top of it very professional staff. Good thing is that the restaurant operates until 11.00 p.m. which is a rare luxury to find in Germany. Ambience and amenities are but old but very well maintained.

Location is bit bland. Actually, it is located in an office cum Industrial complex. If one is travelling with family, it may not be a good choice, as jt is purely a business hotel and bit away from City. However, if one is travelling by car and is not too particular about views from hotel room, it is the best place to stay.

Very good breakfast. Quiet location. Rooms are not soundproof so you can hear noises from other rooms very easily (for ex. someone was playing a game on the phone late at night and we could hear it)

Parking fee, but I managed to find a free spot on the streets nearby (5 minutes walking). Cleaning team starts early in the morning (around 8) and do a lot of noise. One morning I forgot to put the "do not disturb" sign and the ladies entered the room without knocking.

Breakfast, which by the way was included into the price of the room, was really good with lots of different options. My daughter for example was amazed by avocado and mango options. We stayed in the hotel while travelling and the location for that was quite convenient. Parking was just opposite to the hotel and the price for it was quite reasonable. Check in was also very efficient.

Surprisingly there was no fridge in the room. As for the rest this was exactly what we needed for a short stay.

We really liked the breakfast! Big selection of food, plus healthy options. We had good relax in sauna. Quiet room. We were very happy for haribo gold bears as a complimentary snack. ♥️

Little table lamp was not working properly I had to turn it off. And I didn’t like the pictures above the bed. Those are just small issues it didn’t affect our overall view.

Location was great for us since it was on our way, but it might be a bit out of the way for someone who wants to explore the city. Hotel is nice if perhaps a bit outdated, but extremely clean. Super friendly and helpful staff, large enough room and the best breakfast ever. Huge selection of dishes and super efficient staff.

The bed was large but unfortunately to hard for me. Parking is available in a parking garage but it's not for free.

As a family visiting Playmobil park this hotel is number one to pick as it is close to park and offers family rooms. Hotel is in calm office space area, so visiting over weekend is great as the area is really calm. They have great self serve buffet like breakfasts with huge variety of food.

What could be better? The dining variety. Dining is also in form of self serve buffet. Problem is that there is no meal for kids except pasta. The cold buffet offers e.g. asian spring rolls but they aren't very tasty, same quinoa salat which had way too much curry powder inside.

Breakfast was good, with a rich choice of foods. Would be even more perfect if they were offering also porridge. But in total it was tasty and fresh. The park area close to the hotel is fantastic, birds singing, a lot of greens and river.

Was dissapointed with the fact, that complementary bottle of water was only on arrival. We stayed for 5 days and there was only 0,5 l of water from the hotel in the room. The rest was only for additional costs in the mini bar. This is first time I experience this kind of water service in hotels.

Great hotel for families, especially the restaurant is perfectly equipped for the little ones and the staff has all the patience in the world. Fantastic breakfast and also great dinner menu.

The air in the hotel rooms was very dry which was irritating to the mucous membranes. And in our room, the water pressure of the shower was very low, which meant showering wasn't that comfortable.
