The hotel is clean, spacious, well lit and has easy access to the stairs and elevator. The breakfast selections were many, including fresh fruit. Electric kettle was in the room to make some morning coffee or tea, and lots of coffee options in the breakfast area, as well. The room was clean and well lit, and the bed was very comfortable. Nice to have a full length mirror in the room as well as good lighting in the bathroom for cosmetic needs. The hotel is close to some great restaurant options—as close as a 5 minute walk. And only a 9 minute walk to the Saarbrucken train station! The staff was very attentive and spoke English, which was super helpful as I have no German language skills! Because I am an ICG member, I was able to extend my check-out time by a couple of hours to accommodate a later departing train time. I appreciated being able to wait there rather than drag my luggage around town for two hours, passing time before catching my train.

I have nothing negative to say—it was great all around!

Hotel felt very up market with very nice decor, design and fittings. Room was quiet, comfortable and air conditioned so we had a very good nights sleep. Breakfast was excellent. This stay really did refresh our very tired bodies from the previous days travelling and a bad nights sleep the night before at another hotel in England

Location very good but not as close to the river waterfront with good selection of restaurants however we would have had to pay more to be closer. In any case found a nice Osteria only 5 minutes walk from the hotel

The property was what we expect from holiday inn express. The rooms were quiet, clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was the usual continental buffet, perfectly adequate for us. The Italian restaurant just up the road was great and only 2 minutes walk. Don’t know how far it was from town as we only ventured to the Italian restaurant.

It was all good but there was a lot of construction going on around the hotel, not their fault but it made the area feel a bit like a building site.

The facilities are brand new, clean and very comfortable. The bed is nice, the bathroom is clean, and the amenities were very nice for the price range (coffee in the bedroom and Dove soap and shampoo). The breakfast was good enough, and the location of the hotel is perfect, very close to the main train station and to the city centre. The staff was also very nice. Will definitely go again.

The breakfast could have some hot options, like scrambled eggs and sausages, but it is good enough even without it.

Superb Location, 3-minute walk from the saarbrücken hbf, next to the city centre. Offers a variety of food options for breakfast. Very generous, courteous and welcoming staff. The mini-bar on ground floor is also decent.

Drinking water wasn't provided, which I feel was missing. Previously I stayed at Motel One and they offered a complimentary bottle of drinking water. Even the vending machine downstairs for purchasing a water bottle wasn't working.

Nice hotel ,clean modern ,friendly staff decent sized room beds comfortable and nicely fitted out bathroom with decent shampoo and shower gel in. Car park is large enough we had 2 motorbikes and although parking is out front of hotel bikes were adjacent hotel reception, however we felt they were OK their. Breakfast is good continental style. City centre is approx 8 to 10 minute walk nice place just a overnight stay for us ,excellent.

Nothing, all good

The room was great, very modern. The staff were all great, especially the man from Sri Lanka on night reception duty and the young lady in the restaurant at breakfast, they were both really helpful and friendly. There was plenty of parking and it was really easy to get the S-Bahn into town.

Breakfast was really good, but it would have been good to have had some hot food too. The location is not a great part of town, but it’s easy to get to the town centre.

Good Location close to the centre. Free on site parking. Excellent continental breakfast, friendly staff and room very clean with a comfy double bed.

Due to temporary road works in the vicinity of the hotel, very difficult to find access to the car park. I would suggest whilst works continue a temporary sign indicating directions to the rear entrance of the hotel car park.

Modern, clean hotel in good location just a few minutes walk from town centre. Good size room with very comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Good parking and easy access to routes out of town.

Restaurant was a bit disappointing for evening meals - more of a fast food/ snack type restaurant offering pizzas and similar ‘meals’. Fortunately there were a number of restaurants a short walk away.

Very new, with fresh, stylish decor. Well-lit bathroom with walk-in shower. Large TV. High ceiling in the room. Curtains let no light through. Quiet room. Air conditioning quiet, easy to adjust and efficient. All staff were friendly and communicative. Excellent breakfast with two coffee machines, so no queues for coffee. Free parking on hotel grounds. Hotel bar still serving beer at midnight. Free tea and coffee in the room.

We'd have preferred a thicker topper on the bed, as the mattress was rather hard for people with hip problems. The bedding was too thick, like a big feather duvet. I'd have liked the option of a thin blanket. Hotel is a not very scenic 20 minutes' walk from the city centre. (Trams also available).
