Domizil Tübingen is a newly renovated, comfortable hotel at a beautiful riverside location, right at the river Neckar - but unfortunately that location comes with a price: shouting and noise throughout the whole night, especially on weekends, from people frequenting nearby outdoor restaurants and clubs. But that's certainly a problem with all accommodations in the area, a problem not just pertaining to the Domizil. If you can sleep with the room windows closed, it's ok. I just can't.

The hotel is situated not far from the city centre, bus and railway station. The rooms are clean. The bed is comfortable. The staff in the hotel is very helpful and nice. It is good to stay 1-2 nights, just a short stop.

For me the hotel value 3 stars and not 4, as there is quite poor things in the the room: no mini-bar, small bath towels. The breakfast should have more verity ,like omelet , sausages, some bakery, coffee machine, as coffee is really has no tastes there.

Perfect location on the river in Tubingen and close to everything.The hotel is clean, modern and beautiful.

Our room faced the street and could be a little loud. I’m sure the river facing rooms would not have this issue. The included breakfast was a very good assortment of meats, cheeses, cereals, etc. However, we noticed that others who spoke German were offered more choices such as espresso drinks and made to order egg dishes. I suspect this was a language issue but it would good to make this more clear.

Noise from people walking on the street late at night was very disturbing and we are fairly tolerant travelers. The location is right by the Altstadt and late party goers walking past were sooo loud. The weather was perfect to have the windows open, but on the weekend the singing, yelling and loud talking that carried up to our 3rd floor street facing room continued until 4am. It must have echoed off the buildings just right, you could hear the coffee place right behind the TI all day also. The hotel has A/C and you can shut the windows for some relief, but I recommend springing for the river facing side of this charming hotel.

It was our first time in Tubingen. Lovely town. The hotel is located on the canal and in the heart of the city with a parking garage 30m away. Rooms were modern and very cleanly appointed.

Only issue was were on the road side on a Saturday night and we had our window open. People seem to be out all night! Next time I will ask for a canal side room or close my window.

Domizil is a great hotel. I had stayed there a few times before. It is right at the downtown Tuebingen within walking distance from everything. The rooms are very clean, very modern, and he staff are extremely nice and helpful. The most important reason that I choose this hotel every time I go to Tuebingen is that most rooms have air condition which, those who have lived in Tuebingen, can tell you is a MUST in the summer time.

The elevator is a little tiny, but that's fairly normal in Europe, I think.

The room is a bit dark and could use a more light for my taste. It would be great to have an option for coffee or tea in the afternoon, there is nothing in the room and the bar only opens at 5pm.

Great location. Really well appointed and comfortable room. We were I initially given a room overlooking an ugly car park but managed to change it (at extra cost) to a room overlooking the river without any trouble. Staff were very friendly and helpful

STAFF were AMAZING!! Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Getting to the parking garage was quite difficult but that was only due to city construction. The garage itself was very conveniently located.

City construction/bridge closure made getting to the location a challenge. Everything else was perfect.
